Hi guys, I've been using honor buddy for a while now with great success for farming and leveling. I recently started trying to use honor buddy with Lazyraider for pvp to replace PQR as my rotation is really not optimal. i've tried Tuanha ret paly CC with lazyraider and tyrael and both seem to act in the same way, everything is working great but there is unfortunately a delay between each action of a couple milisecond. pvp especially arena is all about reaction time and speed of execution and that delay is unfortunately rendering the whole thing ineffective. Is this a limitation of honorbuddy or there is something that is not properly configured on my side? i've tested singular and tuanha CC and both act the same using any botbase like tyreal and lazyraider, in all case PQR react much faster and action are instantly done making the "burst" a lot more effective. doing duel with my friend using PQR the pressure is a lot higher due to speed of execution. I really wish honorbuddy would be as efficient as tuanha profile is doing a lot better on all other aspect. if you can help me find a solution that be awesome.
PQR ability check is like 50ms on default just for starters and pretty sure someone told me HonorBuddy has like 500ms or even 1000ms check so that's why the delay and also TuanHA has a LOT of code in his CR's not just for smashing out the rotation uber fast, it checks for so many different debuff's and buff's etc. so it's constantly scanning for a million different things on top of that where the PQR profile would scan for little things or nothing lol
I think PQR is fast because it's a really light weight rotation. I've look into few PQR profile and it simple and strait line of code. The "light weight" rotation is good but it also have limitation. For example I haven't seen a QPR profile that stop attack on a blind/sheep/trap target or scan arena partner for a Hand of Sacrifice dispel or find a totem to kill... The PQR core and the user created profile do less so it faster i think.
Pqr is not faster. If you manage to get a functional and fast code you are atleast as fast as pqr is. Its not easy to produce a good code at hb. But its possible to outdps / heal / tank pqr
Gor whatever it means, you can solve the delay by enabling the LockSelector in Tyrael. You will probaly be not happy about it though, as TuanHas routines do not support framelock But you can try. And agree with Navi. HB can be as fast and even faster as PQR, its just alot harder and more work
is it possible that my computer may not be powerful enough to handle a complex CC like this ? my computer is due to be replaced it a core 2 duo 5-6 year old, wondering if honorbuddy would perform better with a better computer. setting the process to high priority helped but it still slow on the rotation.
the faster computer you have the faster its going to be able to do the checks needed, specially in a pvp setting where you can have 10 units each with 20 buffs that the combat routine has to check, its all a matter of how fast your processor can get it done.
