I was looking to purchase Buddywing. I spent some time at other websites in order to determine wether to purchase this bot or not. Its seems easier to use than other bots I have come across but I have a few pressing questions. 1. ownedcore stated in order to find a bot you would like you must first read the boards of said bot to see what if any there are any issues: With that in mind, am I to take it that this bot does not mount and therefore like the earlier bots in WOW it is a dead give away that the person behind each character is a bot if it do not mount? 2. My friends and I do not wish to pay big sum if problems are not addressed in a time manner. So reading through boards would you say that GM/Dev is timely and answer right away? We just wish to bot in ease and not so much have to be ones to complain that issues are not addressed. 3. I see that people in community reply here. So is the bot manly a bot run by comunity? If so what are the Dev's doing? I wish to be part a people and not so a person but if peoblems are only solve by other botters then why trust bot? Sorry for questions but me and freinds, doznes from Aion and want to play this game but ownedcore said this is best bot and we don't want to spend the money we think if the bot is broken most time. Hi Kbass, 1) Right now the bot doesn't mount. It's been that way for about a week. Just today, the devs said that they were going to look into it tomorrow. Aevitas is very good, but stretched thin across several projects... so when he does have time to devote to a problem it's usually solved in a timely manner. I'd be surprised if mounting wasn't solved tomorrow, or in a couple days at most... but like I said.... 2) Aevitas, the only developer for buddywing (it seems), is stretched mighty thin across multiple bot projects. He doesn't spend a lot of his time on SWTOR because there aren't as many subscribers and it's not as profitable. Usually when SWTOR is patched, BW is patched very fast to make it functional, but as far as actual content patches for the bot... I'd say the developers keep it functional but nothing more. 3) The bot is very community driven. All the functional routines are done by the community, and if you're going to grind you should make your own profiles. The only thing the developers have done is released a questing pack... but that pack is very old and out dated and you need to babysit it while questing. So, I guess, bottom line it really does depend on what you want to do with the bot if it'll be worth it for you or not. It's a highly functional, and easily the best bot, if you're willing to put the time into getting it to run properly.
ITs a good bot. It works for me to say the least. The mounting is a issue, yes. But like he/she stated above the bot is community driven. I haven't found a easier bot out there yet that simple to use.
Bot works great just needs a few things iron'd out. That will happen with time since the commnuity will handle it! Fearless leader is fixing mounting in the bw.exe so we will be all good. Give it a try!
