AVG. Let me shut it off and see if that fixes it!

Have you tried to ignore it and go on? I'm running Win8x64 and sometimes I get that error and just ignore it and it usually works.
You could also try dumbing down UAC(User Access control) It's even more secure than what Windows 7 was.

Yeah, it just sits there. I will try the UAC thingy :)

I have disabled my anti-virus and removed UAC (down to the lowest option) and still am receiving the error. I let it sit there for a few minutes after ignoring it and it still wouldn't work.

I am running on a laptop with a external graphics card. Making it use to internal made no difference :/

it has to be a permissions issue then with your user account on the machine. there's no other reason for that error to pop up.
the only other thing i can recommend is doing a reinstall of windows to see if that helps.

That.. uh seems a little drastic.

It's possible i am getting that error because I am running WoW off of a separate (since my main drive is an SSD I have limited space) drive. Moving it to my main drive

you shouldn't have too much problem as long as, but ideally both honorbuddy and wow should be on local drives. flash drives, network drives, network shares all can cause problems. so its important that the program is stored and run locally.

Well it was a secondary drive in my laptop. I'm moving it over now (taking awhile haha)

It won't let me touch the actual application, so that wouldn't work :p.
