Well I finally for my 4 chars ready this week, made some gold and tonight I sold it to a site. I used an empty vanilla account to do the trade. I made 2 chars on the vanilla, invited char A into my gild put 60k on char A, left the guild with char A, sent the 60k to char B, deleted char A, put the money with char B into the guildbank of the gold buyer, left the gold buyer's guild and finally deleted char B also.

And fucking blizz banned one of my botting accounts from the guild. Just one out of 3. It had nothing to do so far with the trade vanilla account. It wasn't even on the same IP with the vanilla account!

I appealed of course, said that I love their crappy game and have never sold gold to anyone, and that my only transaction so far were with my guild.

I'm asking you, the community, how did this mess happen, what did I do wrong?!? I mean I expect my trading account to be banned on a transaction, but this takes the cake! Is this just bad luck?

I'll update on how my appeal goes.

EDIT: and btw the vanilla account is just fine and unbanned right now, thanks blizz!

Emm, you sold gold, thats why. Its very easy for them to track gold.
The only protection you get is to hide among the 8.7 million users.
They can't monitor all of us.

Of course I was baned for gold selling, but in the last six months I've sold gold 3 times and each time I got one account banned! Am I just that unlucky?

Where were you since start of April?
Haven't you notice that blizzard got extremely strict?

I know man, but there's gotta be a way, I mean people didn't just stop selling gold. They hit the botters with their LCP detection methods and the botters got through that. I amd surely not the only one trying to sell gold, lol! Maybe it's like weedblaze said, they flagged me because of the stie I was selling to. I'm going to do some research and try to find some better people to sell to. If anyone of you feels in a generous helping mood please PM me the name of a gold buyer that doesn't get me baned on the first transaction.
Btw my appeal was denied. And the crappy trade account is STILL up and running!!! they wouldn't ban that! Noooo! :D

You are overreacting when selling gold, imo!
      Just do several simple things:

If you have private goldbuyer, then get just let him withdraw from your gbank. Simply as that. And add him to realid or battletag, so In case of investigation, they would obviously assume you are friends.

When you sell to chinese, there is always chance for you to trade with flagged IP.

1st rule: Never delete trade characters, its like red flag for the investigator, that there is something fishy going on, never!
2nd: Trade in small portions, like 10-20k transactions - when u sell 60k, just withdraw 3x20k at a time, not 60k total.
3rd: To take extreme safety, trade the gold with the vanilla account outside your house, and not on your usual machines etc, use friends, school, anywhere, you never login with your main/botting accounts.

I'm sorry, I'm overreacting because I'm kind off broke right now and I'm counting on this shitty business to bring in some $ so I can start over. So the fact that they killed 1/4 of my accounts at the first attempt at gold selling (on these 4 accounts) does not sit well with my stomach :p...

And I'm pissed because I never got banned for botting, only for economy abuse. It's like when you say everything's gonna be fine, and then BAM you get the hammer. I'm just trying to find a way to make an account last a while before getting baned so I can make at least some $ of it.

I've seen posts advising to delete the chars you made transactions with. I've seen posts advising not to. I also have no ideea how the blizz tripwire for gold movement works. Does it trip if a transaction is bigger than x gold? does it trip if you move x gold in smaller packets during a day? Nobody actually knows. This leads me to believe that it's more profitable to farm a large amount of gold over a couple of weeks (like 1-2mil) and sell that all at once, replace the banned accounts and start over.
