Hello, I had an old frozen account from a while back and I decided to add a subscription to use with this bot so that if I was banned my main account would not be banned. Q1: I have a non-static ip. If I didn't could they track my ip to the other account and ban it too? Q2: Both the accounts are on one bnet account... they ban the individual accounts not the bnet account correct? Thanks
Hey, My setup is practically identical to you. I often play on one and bot on the other. My secondary (farming) account was 72hr'd a while back for using Gatherbuddy. My main account wasn't touched. It's been a while since the suspension and i'm botting again now, yet to see any problems. HTH.
Thanks for the quick reply. Would you happen to know if (When I get a toon to 80 on my botting account) that I could xfer him over to my main account w/o putting my main acc in danger?
I don't think it matters if you transfer or not, they have your IP address. So if you botted on John Doe on WoW1 acccount and transferred with to your WoW2 account with Jane Doe. I think it would be safer to leave John Doe (botting toon) on 1 account not mixed with other accounts because blizzard will ban the offending character on what ever account it is on. So if you transferred John Doe to Jane Doe account that account might get banned too even if it wasn't the orginal account it was on when it botted. Example: I botted on my druid a while back, and transferred my druid to my account with my Paladin on it, I never did nothing on my paladin like buy gold or bot. That account got banned for botting. It is safer in my opinion to leave your botting character on 1 account. Blizzard doesn't normaly ban your whole B.net account or IP unless your a repeat offender or you done something really bad that usually only ban the offending account(s) not everything on your battle.net email.
I guess it would be possible that two people were playing wow from one computer - have a dual monitor/dual input setup happening. So you could always argue that you had a sibling playing at the same time as you or something?
Wouldn't work, because blizzards will be like your not suppose to share your account. Only the adult can share an account with a son or daughter. Like if I shared my second account with my brother and he botted got that account banned, I can't be like my bro was on it I didn't do anything wrong, they won't unban the account.
