Is anyone able to shed some knowledge on gatherbuddy ban rates? i've never used it, and i realize that its probably the main reason people get banned, but i was interested if anyone knows anything about it. I was thinking about using it on a mule account and just botting untill it gets banned 1. interested in how long I can bot for (12 hours a day~ish) 2. If i get banned on that account , will it effect others on my battle.net 3. your personal experience with it 4. any other reccomendations for me 5. can sending the ore/herbs onto my main account create suspicion and get it banned? thanks guys! 1.Gatherbuddy2 right now is kinda.... well its fine but you have to be EXTREMELY safe. I mean 12 hours a day...is going to be a ban. Look up gatherbro on google. 2. They only ban cd keys. So if you are banned on your wow, you wont be banned on your starcraft 2 or another wow account on a bnet account. 3. I stopped using Gatherbuddy a long time ago, i recently started farming again with gatherbro. 4-6 hrs a day. Its pretty legit 4.Use plugins 2 protect yourself, and always monitor your bot 5. Launder your gold through a GBank from bot account to main account
well if u get stuck or someone is whispering you, or a gm is whispering you....if your in the room u can talk to them and possibly save ur account, or un stuck yourself.
How long do u think I could bot for 6-8 hours a day maybe 5-6 days a week, if you had to guess, untill i got banned? just doing gatherbuddy. Like a week? month? couple months?
"Your rolling the dice everytime you press start" - Nice quote actually ! The thing is, no one really knows what is getting people banned right now. Nevertheless you can always get reported by a player and banned after just 1 hour of botting (Doesn't really matter if you watch the bot while gathering btw.) So in general a ban is always a risk you need to be willing to take.
Why are people still using GB(2)? That last ban wave should of told you enough to stop using it. Been using Gatherbro here, longest I've gone for is 11.2 Hours straight now. Just waiting for HB update :|
GatherBro can still get u banned. Blizzard is using a script and no one really knows what they base their bans on. Still it's safer than GB2 ofc.
I never questioned one could not get banned from botting. I have been botting since Glider was released, with good old Mercury as coach. Only ban I have received was that dreadful black Tuesday ban hammer in vanilla (i think 2005 if I remember correctly) If I understand it correctly they are monitoring packet densities now. And the denser vectors indicate a botter, due to one going in the same route over and over. So by randomizing the hot spots with a range of values cripples their newest detection efforts. edit: little high so sorry for grammar
I still use Gb 2, been using it for long time and i just set it to mine ores in hyjal and go to sleep, never got banned lol.
