So I was browsing the forum last night and I saw this plugin http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...moves-bot-locations-clicked-inside-atlas.html Got me thinking of how to use something about the same to "Randomize" gatherbuddy. My idea is, have the plugin pick a random cord and go there, then gather buddy just picks up nodes on the way. When it arrives at the destination it will pick another spot on the map to random to. In addition to that have a mass blacklist of nodes that are trouble some. This would lead to a non pattern that blizz would beable to track, and seems abit safer. Just an idea, to throw out there. not sure if it's been done in the past or not. Thanks for the read ~cody~
Sounds like a good idea if it can be done ! It will take GB longer to collect ores etc but its safer that way
but not obv that u went to a selected node and passed up 6 going to it, then get another random node cord and pass up 4 more nodes going to a specific location? kinda frisky if u think about it
you won?t pass cause gb collects Herbs/Ores on the way to the random hotspot. But a solution is already out for gb 2. Google for random profile generator roboto and you?ll find it.
Better idea, put 2000 hotspots in you GB2 profiles and set it to random nodes, or with that many hotspots, it will already take it hours to complete one circuit of the loop.
This only delays the automated detection and you still end up with a ban. I really like your profiles botanist but for gb2 you don't know that randomize hotspot option in gb2 doesn't randomize hotspots it's confirmed by dev.
Hate to break it to you, no profile generator is worth the effort to download. None take into concideration the terrain, obstacles, trees. Technically, it could generate a hotspot in the trunk of a tree. Much better off to fly the route manually and record the hotspots. IMO profile generators and the profiles they generate are part of the problem, not the solution.
Hm everyone said it?s working good. I personally don?t bot with GB 2 anymore, even before the banwave. I don?t use the bot to earn money. I have only one account. I use it most for rotations only, cause i don?t know shit about tanking etc, but to level a pala is fastest way with dungeontanking. The alt will be used then for jewelcrafting/inscription to be totally independent from AH, save leather (not worth imo) . The healers complain, cause they have nothing to do *gg*. So CC is fine. To supply the mainchar with food/flask/pots it?s enough to have a few lvl 90 chars exalted with tillers. It?s fast, I don?t need to do it each day. And it take not much time. 5-6 Minutes per char + a few minutes for the cooking daily (pepper etc)
I think people don?t like to criticize in a negative way, but if it?s correct and well spoken it?s needed for optimizing. Seems most people really have problems to be criticized or to do so. A lie won?t help. And if I fucked up a friend has to say that I fucked up. Damn.
If you really want to make gold while using GB 2 then you need to fill in your own hot spots, create a personal profile.
