The installer works fine. I've installed it on multiple platforms (including the notorious Windows XP Professional x64 bit edition) and it works perfectly.

There are many reasons why this could happen but in truth the most likely is that you're carrying some kind of infection. My first recommendation would be that you check and clean your system. See if that helps. And remember, you can think you're fully protected by your security software but if you've accidentally given permissions to something nasty your security software can be rendered completely useless.

Open an elevated command prompt and run "sfc /scannow" to see if there's anything wrong?

Damn, that IS impressive. If something works on XP 64-bit, it deserves a gold star.

It actually installed all the dependencies on a clean Windows XP Professional x64 bit edition installation I just finished on a very old Acer Aspire 9300. I can't use it to play WOW or anything as it far below minimum spec for that. I just wanted to check the installer. XP 64 bit runs a treat on the AMD Turion 64 processor too.

Just fired up my dualboot partition (working partition, not a clean install) and it installed on there fine too.

The problem is clearly with your system. Help has been offered but it would seem you haven't taken it. Why on earth would you want your money back when you seem either unable or unwilling to fix the problem with your system?

      Mystifying.

why all of you people install a winxp-64 bit?
      wow runs 32 bit
      bot runs 32 bit

64 bit on wow botting: complete useless & waste of ressources
