i'm using robotos random client right now, no bans since a week and i'm really going insane, wanna see how long it can last.

my way is to refresh the profile every 30 mins and also use the random zone option to randomly gather in KL, JF and VOTFW.
still running one toon on 18/6 (breaks now and then included) on a uk medium pvp server, only problem so far was that i needed more guild banks to store all the stuff i havested xD
Sure, Randomized Hotspots are useless if you dont change them regulary - this is MANDATORY!

IMHO GatherBro is useless for following reasons
-) It is closed source, u can not see what data is collected and it CAN (not saying that it does) track your toons - i only use open source plugins and botbases, u never know
-) GBro does not create random Hotspots, it just does random waypoints. The way we think LCP is working is that it detects the nods corrdinates u havest, not the way how you get there.
--) EZBot also does this Random Waypoint feature but also uses static Hotspots (and this one's really free...) and their users also get targeted by many bans... so GBro is nuthing but a HB version of EZB
-) Shuffling up the same profile over and over again is the same as using a random public profile with GB2, nodes get tracked => bam

=> ONLY Way i see so far is to NEVER USE THE SAME NODE TWICE (or at least within a certain time or amount of others)

I'd really like to read some more users experience with those two methods...

I don't know if I believe the same nodes argument. Before I used GB2 I used to gather manually. There's nothing more predictable than a farmer who's manually farming - they have their favorite paths to fly around, and often repeat the same nodes over and over again. If they are somehow targeting by hotspots or by how you fly, possibly. But I often watch my toon gather, and it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to see that it's a bot, especially when it has trouble getting to the ground near a tree, or doing the whole backpedal/strafe/go forward unstuck routine, or turning on a dime instead of easing into a turn like you might normally.

I still think it's a matter of amount of hours farmed, reports on you based on bottish movement, and maybe even a review of how much turnover you have in herbs/ore, gathering them and mailing them.

This is very good. Made my own VotFW profile completely disregarding potential problem areas, used your blacklist profile, and it's now been running beautifully for 2 hours. Thank you very much!
