Haven't been in Swtor for something like 7-8 months and when i left Buddywing was not working "as it should" (to put it mildly). So, does it actually work nicely now? Or do i have to babysit it just like before?
Grinding - works great, check it every 8 hours or so Questing - if it has to interact with something in the quest, its like 50/50 of whether or not it will continue afterwards. Check every 30minutes
Grinding works pretty well, especially when you set DoRandomGrind to True in MercHelper + Combatbot.xml profile from PureSwtor profile. I've found this actually works better than writing a grinding profile for an area, not sure why or even true. Trick I use is to check the bot via Remote desktop app from my smartphone. So if the bot stopped for whatever reason, i can restart it from my phone no problem, i'll do this when I'm at work periodically, but find that the bot will grind for 3-4 hours with no problem. As for the questing it's more trouble than it's worth in my opinion. Profiles are outdated and buggy as all hell, works like 50% of the time if that, especially with quests that involves using an inventory object or object in general. This mode is best if you want to watch a movie or something and have the game set up on a second screen so you can help the bot out when it gets stuck. With the amount of attention needed it just doesn't make sense to use the questing profiles as opposed to grinding for leveling. As for daily quests and stuff at 55 I haven't tried them yet and can't speak to whether they are better or not.
Questing profiles work fine. Just have to watch objects that need to be clicked since bw has always had issues with that. Just get a routine that actually works now. Before people had no fucking clue what they were doing or even played the game. Some old rotations made me laugh so hard.
