I know that this is not a bot related problem and that this is not necessarily the proper place to be asking for this kind of assistance, but I cannot seem to find anything about it anywhere online about it. I cannot get WoW to launch in 32 bit version. I havn't played for a while. Last night I was able to run the game in 32 bit version without problems, and I even botted for about an hour. But today the game would not launch. I changed it back to 64 bit and it launches without any problems, But if I try to run it in 32 bit version it acts like it is going to load (I can even see the process in task manager) but it just doesn't do anything. The only thing related to my problem I have been able to find is some dead end thread where someone mentioned that it is a problem with the 32 bit client and an asrock motherboard (which I have an asrock motherboard). Again I am sorry for asking about this here, but I am wondering if maybe anyone here has heard anything about a fix for this issue or has experienced the issue or may have a solution for it. Thank you!
Wow automatically starts in 64 bit if it goes to the launcher and checks for updates. You can have the option of either by picking the normal start option or opening up your wow folder and choosing the Wow application instead of the launcher.
I am aware of how to launch the game in 32 bit version. The issue is that when I try to run the 32 bit version exe. or if I try to change it to 32 bit via the launcher it does nothing. It acts like it is loading, and I can even see the process appear in task manager. But nothing happens.
And it used to run perfectly fine in 32 bit version, night before last (night before I made this thread) I was running 32 bit wow and botting away happily. I don't understand what could have happened to make just the 32 bit version not work anymore like this.
Nevermind, I decided it was time for me to do my annual reformat, after doing so and installing WoW fresh I can now launch the 32 bit client without issue again.
