OK. I have watched swtor credits drop from $50 per million in december to $17 per million today. We are our own worse enemy as the gold sellers continually try and get a lower price by $1 every week or so. They have been doing this for years and some botters can't help themselves and will agree to lowering prices if they cannot sell instantly. WHO WANTS TO EARN MORE $$$ PER MILLION ? It will take ALL of us to do it. And because this is a supply vs demand economy we can DEFINITELY raise the price. How do we do this you may ask ? Stop being the gold producer and start being the gold SUPPLIER!! If you do not understand what I mean I shall explain. NEVER ask what price a seller / reseller is willing to pay. This is how NOT to sell gold. You: Hi, how much are you paying for credits today ? Buyer: We pay $6/m You: OK Oh My God. If you do this you are contributing to the extremely low credit prices we are experiencing. How to sell your gold. To raise the price of credits we need to work together. If the gold sellers/reseller CAN NOT GET GOLD the price WILL rise. If you (ALL OF YOU) set your price and become a gold broker and not a gold begger we will see a big difference in what we can sell gold for. I can tell you that I myself sell my gold at $10 - $12/m depending on how much stock I have. I would set my price way higher but I have heard that some of you are selling gold for $5/m. I almost fucking laughed and cried when I heard this. I might only get 1 sale a week at my price but I do not care because 1 sale at $10 - $12/m that cleans me out is much better than selling a couple mil per day at $5/m. If you want to know how I get these prices, it is simple supply vs demand. Once you all run out of credits and the sellers have demand that they cannot supply and I have 10m sitting on my characters they come begging me to lower my prices and all I say is "No thank you" and 1 minute later they reply OK I need 8m on X server pls and they WILL and DO pay my prices. So My question to you all is, DO YOU WANT TO MAKE MORE MONEY ? Please reply below and also show your friends who produce. If we get enough producers wanting to get better $$$ for our work we really will, as the gold sellers are in the business of supplying customers, If they have to pay more for credits, they will charge more for credits. We have seen first hand that people are willing to pay $50/m and even though we wont see those prices again we will definitely see $25 - $30/m if we all work together. If we get enough people in this thread. Next weekend starting on the 18th we will jack our prices up hardcore and the sellers will have to buy to fill orders and you will see prices on their websites instantly change because we have become strong economically by working together. I have already done this on my bots. I am now stock piling credits and not selling until I get more than $12 per million. I make about 4 million a day on all my bots depending on Nav being down. I actually thought of this the other day, what if the super mods of BW that are on these boards started to form one guild. One super guild on one server and started stockpiling credits...... Oh the day......
You can buy 1mil for like 1000 Cartel Coins or less selling packs or anything else. There s no way prices will go up to 20-30$ soon. It would take some massive banwaves,cred drains and the chinese would be back in no time since it s so easy to level. I ve sold my share of credits since launch and after the cartel market came we ve never been close to those prices. At the current state of the game 15$ is the roof IMO. Currently i sell for 10-12 also. Lowest I ve ever sold was like 8$ about 4 months ago but on shitty servers and It was like 50mil. I doubt we d have a large impact, most creds are still farmed in China and I doubt they ll join up in this. Now if someone is selling for 5$ thats retarded unless you re expecting a ban soon. There s way too many suppliers to make this work IMO and lots of them don t use BW. I ve farmed up to 20m a day without BW and without Space botting.
Most chinese gold sellers produce their own credits and we do not even get a look in. You have a defeatist attitude. The sellers that we sell to rely on us and if you think they will not increase the price when their supply dries up over night you are insane.
I hear where you are coming from here. I haven't sold credits in almost a month only because the price was so low. I have been spending them on crap like mounts, bank tabs etc..... I don't want to go back to WOW but if the market is still strong there I may go bot the living crap out of that game with 6 accounts and milk it. Its that or we all start looking for the next MMO cash cow.
The REsellers you refer to don t set the price. The large sites do and they have steady supply from China and just buy from the resellers you re talking about when they don t have another choice or when getting it cheaper than from the large Chinese Farms. And that price is set according to CC/Credit ratio. Why would anyone risk buying from third party sites if you can get it cheaper without breaking the TOS. IMO I m realistic and you re daydreaming sorry , but it s an interesting experiment. You can count me in to see how it goes. Generally I agree with your guide on how to deal with resellers though.
I personally do not sell to resellers. I only deal directly with gold sellers who run their own gold selling websites. I do know a lot of people who do not know any better that sell to resellers though.
about 2 months ago, when the price was at 8 per mil, i did what crikey did, and we got the price to 12 again, then came a huge patch and it was at 18 or so. The higher we can push it, the better. As for chineese farmers, if there was a huge amount of them, the price would plumet hard. Believe me, there is not many chineese farmers on here. We are the ones getting creds, and the people selling for fuk all , are not only screwing themselves over, + us. If i found the bots selling for cheap, i would have no hesitation in reporting them. Anyways i am in, lets atleast try for 12 for starters. PS: probably got alot of errors in this post, but cbf going through it.
If anyone thinks we cannot work together to raise prices here is a demand list for 1 day off 1 gold selling website I deal with. 150 million gold. They begged me for credits and told me they would pay $14/m if I could get them credits. So I just bought everything from everyone on my contact list for $10/m and people from the buddywing forums could not give it to me faster and I basically made $200 profit in 30 minutes trading 50m from them to my client because a lot of people thought $10/m was huge. This is when I found out some people here were selling for $5/m and thus made me write this post. If you think for 1 minute that "chinese farmers" can magically produce this kind of credit, why are gold sellers sending me demand lists with 150 million credits if "chinese farmers" can supply every credit the sellers need ? Credits won't sell for those ridiculous prices anymore now that bioware controls the price. Chinese sites can't sell for $50 when bioware sells for $10-$20. I don't know what is so hard for you to understand about it. You think retail price lowered from $50 to $15 because of too much supply? If there is too much supply, sites will lower what they pay the suppliers. They won't lower their site price if everyone is buying at that price, that would make no sense. I don't know what is more hilarious. You not understanding why credits aren't $50 anymore or you thinking you can make a post here expecting EVERYONE selling credits to see it and actually follow your dumb ass. If you want to sell for maximum price then open up your own site and get buyers to it. What is even more hilarious is you have the nerve to come here and give demands/nerd rage at devs/mods about you giving them a whole whopping $15 for the bot. Based on the previous 10 threads you made like this one, I'd say its pretty safe to say you got way more than $15 out of the bot so please stfu already. They have made it clear that the bot is as-is and they don't make hardly any profit off of it. They should just finally pull the plug on it and maybe assholes like you would be satisfied? Better yet maybe you should give them your credit profits so they can use it to improve the bot.

as for my post for the devs, its not a threat guys, so dont hit me with suspension hammer, i am just going to do what the majority, are asking for with the tells i am receiving via skype. Beleive me, most of your customers dont want $5 sellers, so i am just doing what they are asking.
I would really like to know why you are so upset that I am trying to organise people to make more money for everyone. Something seems fishy here.
