Hello, I've used BGBUDDY a lot of the time, and only time I found to be acceptable was funny enough the first time I used it, 2011, and I've seen it fall so far from that height, I am currently using it now, and was doing WSG and I witnessed it getting stuck on quite possibly everything it could and I kind of felt embarrassed to be even using it, If you couldn't tell a bot before, I am sure as hell an insect could now. A part from getting stuck, also watched it mount up, ran past my team, for which, who were attacking a group of horde, and then just stood there, doing nothing, or mounts up, runs couple meters at most, dismounts, not to even mention the whole "Beginning of BG" crap it does, running in, running out, jumping like a weirdo. Just now - in middle of WSG, runs couple meters left, then runs all the way right, and did this for god knows how long, I had to manually move him away from that area.. And when it first started, It was running to the WSG gate then back to the middle of Flag room, and repeating it, for no reason, and everyone saw it. I don't mean to be negative about it, but I mean when is it going to be useful again, considering they base the product name upon PvP. So I am just wondering, is it being planned or in the works for BGBUDDY to get fixed up any time soon?
Well, just because you haven't witnessed it fk up yet, doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist, either it has, and you just haven't seen it, or you're running in a better BG than the rest. I was in WSG, for the bonus honor, and after two matches, just shut it all down due to its performance.
Yea but I see barely any reports about it, maybe it's the other way around, that you fucked something up that you dont know about.
no bg buddy sucks.. everyone knows it , it needs to be updated!! outland is right its something that needs to be looked at but since most of the bans tend to be Gather Buddy related i dont think anything will be done soon, i could be wrong though.
No, there is no update in the works. These problems have always existed and are never addressed. I suspect they never will be addressed either. The dev team does the bare minimum to get the bot running 'n that's it. Atleast that's my outside observation from a year of using the product and constant forum reading. Just suspend your wow account before your main gets banned 'n let all this ban crap blow over. Haven't played since it all started in april and I don't miss wow, I just miss botting. So is there a consensus as to the "better" BGs to bot? The ones that are *more* safer, and better developed?
Well, from experience, I would avoid WSG, for me got stuck on everything and tries running up walls it simply cannot get to , also Twin Peak, I don't know what the developers were thinking with this, and I don't understand why the bot runs to the horde flag room, and stands on top of the flag, as if that isnt a huge give away that you're a bot, seriously, plus seen it run into walls chasing a target. I tend to stick with, 1. EOTS 2. AV 3. AB - Can have issues, mainly with the little gate around one of the flag, mine always gets stuck on it. Other than those 3, I try to avoid every other BG, which quite sucks, given I should be able to do them all without any major issues. But that said, even that 3 perform bad enough to possibly getting you banned. Is there a way we can edit BGBUDDY? I know of the default profile, but that isn't whats wrong with the bot..
