I'm new to HB and was just wondering what some of the more established botters feel about fishing and the banrate from that activity.. I have Autoangler2 and have found some great free Pandarian fishing profiles, but I dont wanna go full on with this if it is watched as closely as say GB2 is. (I have seen posts warning against fishing) and I fully understand that ANY botting has potential for bans but just wanted some feedback on this. Thanks in advance
How long you will do fishing by Hand? Think about how long a normal Human will stay at a Spot or Fly around for Fishing and use this Time.
If you use it for a healthy amount of time, then the risks are slim. You're more likely to be reported by a player if you get stuck somehow or they watch you fly around, but compared to the time actually fishing in the pools the risks are much lower.

I fished for 48h straight without disconnect few days ago. I had a spot hidden where no one came ever, i started auto angler without movement and fished same pool for 48h. No one reported because no one ever came where i was.
The way i used it, it was to fish always where i was. Didnt look for other fishing pool or nothing. Thats how i wanted. But i think there is option to fish in pool only.
Yes, when using a profile with it the bot will fly around until it finds a pool, then it will land near it and proceed to fish it until it's gone and repeat.
Autoangler is capable of flying around and finding pools, it just depends on the profile you use. Also, I have done up to 12 hours fishing. I always use multiple profiles, and have em switch every hour or so, and let them loop.
now that the tiny carp pets can be sold, fishing can be very profitable, I snagged 2 white carp and sold them for 4k a peice within a 2 hour period...otherwise, I usually start bot fishing when I'm working around the house or watching tv, then let it log once I hit full bags so that it isn't for long periods of time unless i'm on my computer watching on my other monitor. I usually always end up with at least one of the pets that sell between 1-5k a piece (on my server at least)
I can fish by hand for about 4 hours, then I want to quit, so I'd say, bot for 4 hours, then take a break.
You can also trade 60 golden carp for an ironpaw token as well. This can be used to purchase cooking mats. The veggies sell well and you get 25 of them. Also, equip a fishing bag or food bag. This will keep you from getting so much junk.
