Hello Well, I finally got banned, sadly though all my botting accounts were hit, possibly due to my own mistake of recently having put them all in the same guild, which had participated in gold sale. All accounts were hit at once, also those who haven't been farming but only in the process of levelling. Shit happens. (My main account gladly remains unbanned). The ban happened while shuffling ores. Still haven't received any emails from Blizzard regarding this ban, eagerly awaiting. Would there be any point in appealing? Anywho, not to let it knock me out I still have unused keys so I'm going to redo it all over, but should I hold off for a while if Blizzard happened to track my IP or what is the usual recommendation on this?
1st, fill the ban template, so all can see howmany accounts and doing what! To get the chance to assume anything
So, now I actually received the email from Blizzard, and what it says perplexes me. Greetings, This is to inform you that action has been taken against your account. Not much interesting i can add to the form but lets see: So they sent me the standard template for temporary suspension, is it normal to receive this as well for permenant closure? Anywho, what confuses me is that, they banned me for account botting and not gold selling. I had a single account banned that haven't been botted (old account used for only the professions during shuffle, doing by hand). Since this account was banned too, i was sure it would be because of gold selling as this character was a part of getting the money. All my accounts received the same email. So what really boggles my mind atm, is that I've been botting for so long without any problems. I just reached level 90 today on a Death Knight and would level mining 1-90, I usually have another bot for gathering (as I have some great gathering profiles for it), but would like to try HB for the sake of it. I managed to reach 128 mining before getting banned, which means shortly after using GB2 with randombuddy. This could very well be a coincidence, as i at same time had another bot running to gather. Anyway just for the template 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Gatherbuddy 2)If so, when was the last time?: Today 3)What profile were you using?: randombuddy 4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: TuanHa DK 5)What plugins are you using?: Randombuddy 6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 1-2 6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? Almost entire time 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 0-20 (Most were sold to private buyers, otherwise i sold enchants). 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? Nope 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? Yes 10)EU or US realm? EU 11)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Both.
the ban you had from gold sell mostly 1 to 2h will not hit the ban trigger on you i would ask how the gold trade has been done face to face or gbank also they ppl you was selling to was he a chines reseller?? I'm sorry for you and I hope a better luck to you next time.
Well usually the ban email regarding gold selling is abuse of economy or something like that. The gold were traded via gbank, and actually the first trade done and wasn't a big amount (65k). The person weren't chinese either but european as myself, which I would assume would make it relatively safe. Anywho, I'm going to appeal the bans in a day or two, just need to get my mind on what to actually write. Each account is registered under different names, so need to draw something together.
Never do more than 20k in one hit through the guild bank i.e. if you wanna trade 100k tell them to take out 20k 5 times.
