I was just wondering cause im gonna start over and wanted to know which class is fastest and most fun for questing.
Paladin is fast, Warlock, Hunter, Shaman, Druid, and maybe Warrior but I haven't tried a Warrior yet.
I am going to say hunter (they have high survivability), cause imo the ranged class looks less like a bot. I have leveled pally's (they have high survivability also) & warriors and melee classes seems sometimes kinda of retarded botting. Just find a real good cc and you should be okay for the most part. MEDIC
If your talking about a character you wil just bot up and farm with ret paladin by far. Pally has no compition plate+self heals=win If you want to play then well paladin. You can regain all the mana you need well in combat you can self heal. And at 85 you and be a great heal, tank,ok dps damn now i want to level up a new pally
Hunter (fpsware) by far. Has a pet which it can tank. The hunter can heal. hunter can feign death. Paladin (fpsware) dps is lame. Can waste his total mana casting holy light on himself at 85 and then die when he runs out of mana. Druid (fpsware) dies too often Warlock (singular) seems ok, but dies a lot early on. Also warlock has some querks which makes him buggy to use in quests. Mage (Amplify) is lame. Dies way too often. Priest (fpsware) drinks too much. Too much downtime. Death knight (singular) dies too much Shaman (Shamwow) bugs out with totems keeping him in combat Warrior (fpsware) dies too often Rogue (fpsware) does silly things like vanish, then eats while hostile mob is close by and ends up dying anyways. EDIT: CC names added
It all *entirely* depends upon the CC. I've had good results with: - Hunter on default Singular - Blood DK on Singular with my own rotation (*never* dies. takes on 5-6 mobs or 1-2 elites) - Ret Paladin on Singular with seal replaced (using the heal/mana seal will solve all issues mentioned above. takes on 5-6 mobs, kills Tank on his own) - Warlock on Zerfal - Shaman on ShamWOW - Mage on Amplify I've had bad results on: - Warrior. There currently is no CC that will allow warrior leveling. I've just stopped him at 38 because it's not an option. At all. - Rogue. Haven't given it a serious try though, I have to admit. I've had intermittent results on: - Priest. The available CCs are very, very limited. Singular does okay-ish - Druid. Same as Priest. That all having been said: Blood DK is my favorite for leveling. He just needs the least attention. He can take about anything you throw at him. The currently available CCs are useless though, you will need to adapt the Singular rotation for it to work at all.
Feel free to bot them side by side and report back your findings. One thing I should add is, all the classes I tested were on Horde. Quests may vary on Alliance which may lead to different results.
If you got the spare hb licenses available, can I suggest creating 2 starter / trial wow accounts and setup a your class vs a hunter so you can see the comparison. BTW, from memory, Shamwow only works from level 10 above or something, so you'll need to fudge it DK can only compare once he reaches out of the DK starting area. BTW Blizzard also changed the starting presence with DK specs. It now starts with frost instead of blood. My DK died A LOT after the change made by blizzard. I might be wrong on this. I didn't try it again after this finding about a month or two ago. Feel free to correct me if this is not the case.
Tbh all the classes are decent acourse all have there up and down. My biggest problem is the cc not being able to be put to use because hb likes to crash. To see the differance think i would have to run a grinding 1-20 so its a steady flow for each bot. This may turn into a thread if we want to get detailed about it. plan on doing a shaman, pally, mage, priest. Ill keep track of time played and such. oh and im pretty sure my dk started with blood not 100% just leveled him to 58 and let the bot do the rest.
read the red stuff I use paladins ... except when i need to test bc / lk - then i'll make a failknight on a new server and test it (blood spec). DK's blood leveling > anything else because it can take on a few mobs and stay alive vs 2-3 mobs in frost / unholy and you're dead

Paladin has always been the best due to protection bubble and healing, hunter would usually be top if the bot could handle mobs properly as most people say hunter is the best if you can play the class and then paladin... but paladin if you're a bot.
