So I've recently noticed a decrease in my earnings per day (gold wise). Running with 6 farming accounts which used to make about 4-8k /day farming Northrend, Cataclysm and Outlands mats (server based). I gave up on pandaria because of the bans so I'm using Cataclysm accounts to farm. They're on 3 different servers so I don't flood the market. Anyways, from the usual 4-8k /day I went down to 2-4k/day per bot which is pretty bad. I checked my AH bots and they kept cancelling/reposting because the market was FLOODED. Over 40 stacks of cobalt, saronite, etc. I couldn't believe it at first because I was pissed off. I'm making half the normal amounts because others have also moved on to farming old expansion mats. Usually there were less than 10 stacks of each thing available so it was profitable, but not anymore. Has anyone else experienced the same or is it just my servers? What other ways are you using to make gold outside of pandaria?
Well the amount of botters seems to be constantly growing, its just a matter of time until every farmable resource is just the "shuffle'd vendor price" or equal. furthermore, wotlk accs were just 3,50? or something in the EU some time ago, which makes them a really good choice for farming old exp mats, classic, bc, wotlk.. i don't see anything uncommon im your statement, i'd be expecting this.
people (smart people) are now avoiding Ghost Iron Ore, but they still have mining so they'll just farm another ore... it's good money as long as other botters aren't on your server.
I don't want to go back into Pandaria. Geeze, if anything, they should create a Casino and name it 'Pandaria', because I swear I feel like gambling whenever I send farmers to Pandaria. One day I'm making a killing profit, the next day I'm stumbling upon my ban email. I feel 'safer' farming non-pandaria zones and it just doesn't feel like gambling anymore, though the profits are reduced. I know Pandaria is where the 'gold mine' is, but I just don't want to get these accounts banned until Farmer Joe is released. Also, shuffling is the same thing, doesn't protect my gatherers against bans.
it does protect the selling via cod/mails/AH tho lol. its like earning 100 euros and denying getting 120 euros with the same effort plus safer
I didn't talk about the profit of shuffling, just said it didn't change anything to avoid bans on gatherers.
depends if you are having your gatherers on the same battle.net/ip/pc with your profession toons. every piece of information is important. but ye i partially agree with you, i am so anxious as well when i send them in pandaria. But i always remember to scream loudly : YOU ONLY YOLO ONCE. so ye,eventually i will get banned i guess but i dont care either
