How long did the account last? And that are quite a bit of auctions but if they weren't just for herbs and ores it may not matter much.
accounts about 1 month old, ye there was some ore herb and gems in AH. once i spoke to live chat he seemed to think tht the account didnt look suspisious so he unbanned it
That's not too bad been banned a few times for much sooner you may want to try randombuddy in the plugin section it loads random profiles check how it works in the thread it reduces the banchance we believe becouse running the same profile over and over again even just switching every now and then may have a higher banrate. But great you got your account back you may want to bot a bit less now for a short while but it shoulden't be that much of a problem if they unbanned you.
No point using randombuddy or anything around, im afraid. When he bot 12hours daily, he will get banned soon enough. He simply triggered serverside autoban from extensive gathering for a long enough time - majority of the ban reports here are similar, but he got lucky with the GM, he got in touch, and second chance - but the next time I really doubt he will be handled so positive :/
Is there really such a thing? When Cata was first released I mined for 12 hours straight and didnt trigger anything. I did it all legit as I was hyped on Red Bull and everything was selling instantly for 900g a stack so I never stopped until I literally passed out at my computer.
Read reports here. Some people even reported for hand gathering for few weeks 6-8 hours daily, and got 72h for botting! After appeal, the GM admitted, they had not botting, but advise them to not gather for so much time every day, or will be banned again
Their systems are picking up legit users, not long before they relax the system because otherwise they'll lose their legit customers .
seeing how they just released another 600k sub loss Im surprised they havent just stopped bans altogether. I would definitely quit if I was legitimately gathering and got banned even if it was only 72 hours.
Do not forget that usually, the CS, aka Gamemasters is not directly connected to the Marketing, so if they have to relax the autobanning, there have to be anything written about, which sooner or later could retaliate on them.
