http://www.thebuddyforum.com/buddy-...952-buddywing-dummies-tutorial-new-users.html Give that guide a look over and see if it helps. Make sure to set your SWTOR.EXE process in task manager to HIGH or REALTIME so buddywing runs smooth.

For you long issues you need to open buddywing and after it loads you go to "Info Dumping" tab. You use the drop down menu right below "Log Level" and set to Quiet or None. That will solve your logs being too large.

Did you go to info tab and set log writing to quiet or NONE? Since then it wont make logs.

All those dictionary errors in your log (thanks for log) are from not having a fresh install of BuddyWing. Buddy Updates Please go download a fresh copy and update the Combat Routine that comes with it to either PURE or WW.

Yes, I set it to NONE . But its still make logs and stopping the bots for a while . after that the bot run again and stop to create big logs file .
and already using fresh BW client .

Are you getting same errors? What exactly is happening so we can narrow this down more.

After looking closer seems to always write some kind of log no matter what. Even when I set to none it just writes a log ;(.

      Hi Nightelf22,

Unfortunately, as stated above, the logging drop-down only seems to affect what is displayed in the window. Since making that discovery, mine has been left on Diagnostic.

A couple of notes which might or might not help:

      • Your character is only level 4; the questing profiles generally work better after you complete the first planet, around level 10, although they do require some measure of babysitting.
      • The default combat routines are notoriously outdated and problematic. For leveling, I recommend downloading a copy of Walter's combat routines, and then replacing your Routines/DefaultCombat folder with his.
      • Having the Buddywing folder in your root directory shouldn't be a problem as far as I know, but moving it into a subfolder, like H:\Games\Buddywing\Buddywing.exe, might be worth a shot.
      • You're using a questing profile which is running into errors rather quickly. Manually completing "Reclaiming the Valley" before retrying the profile might also be worth a shot. From the log:
        Code:
[Poi.Clear] Reason: Current quest behavior changed to GrindTag: GrindRef: Reclaiming the Valley, WhileCondition: not HasQuest(0xE00094C42A69B6E9) and not IsQuestComplete(0xE00094C42A69B6E9) or HasQuest(0xE00094C42A69B6E9) and not IsStepComplete(0xE00094C42A69B6E9, 2), QuestId: 0, BranchId: 0, StepId: 0, TaskId: 0, QuestName: Quest Id: 0, IsDoneCache: False, Behavior: Buddy.Common.HookExecutor, .

If completing the quest manually and trying the other suggestions above don't help, try narrowing down the problem with something simpler. Once you reach level 14, try this simple grind profile for Dromund Kaas posted by 15outland a few months ago:

      Code:
      <Profile xmlns="http://tempuri.org/ProfileSchema.xsd">

If the grind works, then you'll know the issue is related to your questing profile.

      Good luck!

I'm glad you figured it out! Per questing profiles, I'm unfamiliar with anything new as I've been using grind profiles almost exclusively now for almost a year. For the early levels (up to 15) I've always thought it best to level by hand; I suppose a modified Pure combat routine (you move, it fights) might be helpful for those levels, although I haven't tried that.

While on the subject of logging, is there a simple way to comment out logging for BW ? I find it basically useless as any time I post a log I get told it is a BW.exe issue and nothing ever gets done to fix BW.exe. Also after running BW for a couple of days and having 20 - 30 gig of text files for no fucking reason shits me.

      Thanks.

I wrote a simple batch file that runs prior to BW starting that deletes any old log files in the \Logs directory.

Save the above text in notepad as a .bat file and you are all set.
