So, I noticed that if I am farming at particularly unpopular time of night, there are a lot of herbs/mines up. What this tends to mean is that when my toon goes does for one herb/mine, it will then skim along the ground to reach the next. In doing so, it gets stuck and tries a crazy maneuver. If it fails to reach the node in two crazy maneuvers, it labels it as bad. Well, when no one is farming and there are a lot of nodes up, this can happen a lot. I emptied my badnodes file last night, and when I checked it this morning, it had autopopulated with 40 new bad nodes. That seems extreme. Is there away around this? should I turn my ground radius distance lower than 20 yards? Thanks.
I'm not. When you use GB, your toon will land in order to farm. When it lands, it regards any nodes within it's ground mount radius (it does this to avoid flying all the way back up in the air if there's a second node close by the first).
Really my guy mounts back up and flies back up then back down to the next node even if it was within a close distance.....
I've seen my GB use the flying mount as a ground mount for close nodes only a select few times, usually he flies up and then back down.
Interesting. I've seen it happen a number of times. It's not uncommon when dealing with herbs, that they will be close enough together that GB will 'glide' over to the other node. I have "Air Mount" checked off. How low are your ground mount radii turned? Or is this not a factor? Thanks
