Banned last night no warnings or suspensions straight out account closure

hey guys been using the bot for at least a few months now no issues, then suddenly left it on for some BG's for only a couple hours if that, and came back to a closed account.

I appealed but was told there is no leniency on "botting" anymore and straight account closures are to be expected for third party software Violations no more 72hrs etc.

sucks, but them's the risks. Thought people should know

Just keep it up - the appealing - usually, the overtune is GM dependant, not policy dependant, so keep it up! People got unbanned in 3-5 tickets even!

I'll get right to the heart of the matter: as much as I'd love to hook you up, we can't overturn botting bans. If we overturned one, then there'd be legal precedence for anyone banned for using the same botting program to force us to overturn their bans as well. I know that explanation stinks, but it's why we have to be so strict on these.

I know that you've been playing since 2008 and never had any trouble other than this. That's why it kills me so much to have to tell you that the account won't be repoened.

There's at least one option you have that might at least help some. If you can get a friend of yours to use Recruit A Friend, then he can help you level up with triple XP until level 70. It looks like you recruited three accounts back in 2012 so you know how that process works.

I don't like giving bad news any more than you like hearing it, and I know that this isn't what you wanted. I do hope that I helped you understand more about how this works so that you'll know what to expect in the future. oh alrighty' well I guess I'll keep trying, there alot more harsh now than i remember though.

 

Just so you know blizzard has been giving out permeant bans for botting since its release. 72 hour bans are also given but are mainly due to player reports.

 

Btw you getting very unusual ban mail, probably after phonecall or?
I doubt a Blizzard GM will make mistake and mentioned RAF is up to lvl 70, when its up to lvl 80 since several years!
Anyway keep it up, at some point they will escalate it to Senior GM, and he will have the final decision.

 

At least you got a reasonable response instead of a generic no thought put into it...that's something right?
