So, you may have seen me , may not..

I have been banned on over 16 accounts in the last 3 months..

When i first started botting, i had 3 accts that i ran for 2-3 months straight and didnt get any attention.

After that, the longest was maybe 2 weeks.

Now, i cant even get past level 80 on a new account without being banned for 3rd party programs.

      -------

I need to start fresh - basically make it so they dont fkin insta ban me..

I mostly botted from my Main home IP. and have tried Vmware + a ***..

Also bought Pingbuster - got banned before level 20 - shit program since all thoes 7 IPs total are Blacklisted.

      ------

      QUESTION!

      1) Can anybody help me out.. give me a complete step by step of what needs to happen so it appears as if i am somone who has never been banned before in the eys of blizzard?

2 )I am willing to pay for a V/.P.N Program -- Which is the best V/P/N Software for me to buy and start botting under?

      3) Should i do a FULL System Reformat - Completely whipe my computer, to factory settings?

      Please help me. im desperate,

Blizz just banned my lvl 74 account (Today - Mind you, Honorbuddy is NOT even working and i was NOT using any sort of cheat software) just good old Grinding.

Got banned for 3rdparty Software - and im litterally in Awe cause that isnt even legal =x Unless they can track me botting Prior to 5.4 ?

      ------------

Please - dont post any shiesty remaks , i really need help and am willing to do what it takes. so if you are a botter who bots with Dozens of accounts, share your tips !

Or you could just not bot. For someone who seems to have that bad of luck, it would be a waste of money to just keep botting...

2-3 months straight as in did you turn you're computer off how often or never? Also how often do you check you're bot and what bot/bots where you running in particular?

Well staying under the radar of the ban hammer is quite easy in my opinion as long as you don't use obvious bots a lot where you're near other players I think BG and Dungeon bots are quite obvious at some times especially if there are Multiple bots in the same Team/Party.

I have the same bad luck as you, I keep getting banned no matter if I use *** or not. I believe its a matter of reports, if you dont want to get banned while leveling get a full group and do dungeons. After that you should make your gold while staying out of the radar aswell. Make sure that no one is around to report you and that way you only get banned when you trade the gold that you've made.... Pretty shitty isnt it? Good old botting days of making a living off gold are over for me, wish you good look and dont get banned ;)

My reply may not be the reply you are looking or hoping for, but I would be grateful if you would take the time to consider and answer the question I have, that is, if you are able to answer!- You might find you have you ask yourself the same question.

Because I'm very curious of your position!

So my question is, why do you bot so hard? You had 3 accounts running simultaneously for 2-3 months? Why? In fact... How?! I find it enough to be able to manage just 1 account.

So what is your purpose or goal of botting?

I have only been botting for 10 days now, so I am pretty new to all this. I have found the bot has allowed me to be chilled out and takes some of the stress of the game away somewhat. I am able to just set my characters to quest and watch them go at it. I have a feeling of relaxation. No feeling of rush, or getting tired of farming, or that anything is out of reach. I created new alt characters, because I know I can level them now. I knew previously I would run out of patience, run out of steam and wouldnt be having fun to level more characters. The bot will never run out of steam. I can read forums, watch youtube, watch twitch, browse facebook, watch a movie or play PS3 while the bot is questing or mining or farming whatever. I suppose the longest I've had it running is 12 hours in a day. But some days I've had it running for a few hours and a couple days of the last 10 I haven't even run it at all. I am also there, I'll pause the movie to check on it. I have gone out and left it running, but then I set strict Logmeout settings and a timer of 3 hours. Oh and I have never used the bot in dungeons or PvP. That is asking for a ban.

You said you're desperate. Why are you desperate? What is it you're trying to accomplish different to me, that requires you to be running the bot 3 months straight?

I don't know how I ended up finding honorbuddy 10 days ago and within minutes buying the trial, I can't even remember. I'd never thought botting was something the average joe could do. But the mentality I had getting into this stuff was - I don't care if I get banned.

That's right! If I get banned I'll unsubscribe and maybe someday I will play WoW again. Or maybe I won't. But it's no big deal.

Honestly, when I first found HB and started the bot for the first time... I was overcome with a terrible feeling of guilt. That I was doing wrong. But a few days later I feel excitement. A real rush. I feel I am finally getting back at Blizzard. I love Blizzard. I love their games, but I can't help but feel like they have screwed me over the years. I don't even want to think about how much money I have spent on Blizzard. I buy all their games. I subscribed to WoW for most of the time since 2005. I bought virtual goods from the store. I've spent over ?300 on realm, faction and race changes alone. And I lost my original level 60 hunter because I leveled it on my brothers account then when I got my own account they wouldn't let me transfer it. Those bastards wouldn't do it. That character was a Grand Marshal. Well Blizz you're greedy and you screwed me over and now its my turn.

So yeah. If I get banned I don't care. But I am going to try not to get banned, so I am being sensible with my botting. Not leaving it on too long. Keeping an eye on it...

We have this wonderful tool at our disposal. Why not just take your time and use it sensibly, use it as a mechanical arm that never gets bored or tired of questing. There is no rush. This bot gives us all the time in the world to reach our goals, while trying to reach such goals normally took all that time away from us. Don't abuse this wonderful tool. That is my advice.

      Regards and good luck.

To be honest.. I try so hard, and fail just about every time, so far its costed me more money then its worth.

My goal of Botting is to make money. plain and simple. but when ur being banned at level 70 on every account, for running LFG or sitting at the entrance of a dung , whilst killing shit on your main.. you kinda get discouraged Hence my question above.

The reason i am desperate, is because i am addicted to this game. and Being able to bot, and make some sort of revenue off of it is all i bot for. I am desperate because i am in a slump, Blizz clearly has my shit Blacklisted and or a GM is harassing my ass daily. and i need to get around it.

And you say " I Love Blizzard? " I say " Blizzard is nothing Theifs - IF your a target, who Bots and loses 15 accounts, and then one day wants to play legit, Like i did up to 5.4 today, and gets banned for leveling a char 1-74 100%legit and gets banned for 3trd party programs."

from my experience. the multieple ip/vmware isnt worth the effort. ive had plenty of accts banned in wow and d3 and nothing suggests they look at that information. ive had 3 - 4 bots running at a time and 1 will get banned. rest survive and live on.

recently (within the last month or so) i leveled up 5 new accts. i did 5 man LFDungeon to 90. this worked extremely successfully. i would say that i was 90% complete afk. had some trouble in the 30 - 35 dungeons i think. and a couple of the 80 - 85 dungeons can be troublesom but just queue specific instead of random solved that problem.

easily done and you stay out of the public eye so it dosent matter if your shit goes wrong in dungeon.

from there. ive lost 1 of those accts from gathering. still have 2 gatherers (that were gathering at the same as the one that got banned) and they are going hard.

the best thing i could suggest is to not invest your own money into it, re-invest your profits back into your 'business'. so youre never running at a loss. expand slowly with what you can afford.

One might think, "Why does Blizzard not support botters?" It's an interesting question, because by banning people who bot, they are losing money. Those accounts are closed and no longer paying subscription to play. It's also job creation, for the programmers who make the bot. You can see that to a certain extent Blizzard do support cheats, otherwise addons like DBM wouldn't be allowed. I've always thought addons are cheats that everyone turns a blind eye to because everyone wants them.

With bots though Blizzard are afraid that if they are seen to be doing nothing about it, they will lose subscribers. Because players who don't know how to bot but want to get frustrated and cancel their sub. Personally I dont think the hardcore raiders and arena players give a shit about if people bot. I know before I found this bot I never cared if anyone else was botting or not. Never gave a crap. And I played this game for a long time.

I say that I love Blizzard because even before WoW I loved Blizzard, Starcraft was my favourite game in the late ninties and early 00s.

But yes Blizz are greedy and thieves, I agree.

Personally I have no plans to make money this way. I want WoW to remain a source of entertainment rather than become a chore. I want to build some 90s and have fun with the process and end result.

I think macedawgs advice is good. Only do what you can afford. If you can't afford to get started up again, earn some money first with another source of income then make an investment plan and stick to it. If this fails, give in. (unless you can afford to try again) because otherwise its becoming more and more like gambling.

      Hi.

Try "Public ***** servers", to hide your IP and mac-address, just Google it.
You can actually make it so that it looks as you are somewhere else in the world.

You can set it up with multiple ***** Server, so it is becoming almost impossible to find back to your IP address .... Old hacker trick.
      Never done that :p

      Edit.:
      hmmm, ***** is P R O X Y

Hello friend and fellow botting addict. Let me answer some questions maybe I can help you from getting banned.

#1: Check out this post: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...ed-anymore-after-14-accounts.html#post1254512
This guy explains a technique to clear a key from your registry. The registry is a Windows system-wide thing that stores data outside of an application. So even if you delete WoW, move to another country, as long as that windows is installed on that machine you use, it will link all game accounts together, regardless of v.p.n etc. So Do this. It will save you a system format.

#2 For a good list of great v.p.ns, http://netforbeginners.about.com/od/readerpicks/tp/The-Best-v.p.n-Service-Providers.htm is a good place to start.
Or get a v.p.n like Pingzapper — Lower ping in games or Download WTFast client (one of the gamer v.p.ns) should be good enough.

#3 my suggestions in #1 still apply, BUT! format is always going to be better. If you do this, then get yourself Windows 7 (not 8, because I hate it, but this is up to you ;) ). Then, format the shit out of your hard drive, reinstall windows. Delete wow if it is on a different partition. delete honorbuddy. i.e clean clean. Then, go to blizzard's site, download a new copy of WoW. get a new version of honorbuddy once its ready for us to use again, and get addons. Use an app like wowmatrix to keep addons up to date. Get a firewall, here's a link with good firewall software suggestions: [Windows] Best free firewall -- Online Armor vs Comodo vs Privatefirewall vs ZoneAlarm vs Outpost vs TinyWall | Reviews, news, tips, and tricks | dotTech . You need a firewall to block outgoing connections from all that software you will be using.

Once your system is nice and clean, you're on the v.p.n, your firewall is installed, AND CONNECTED TO YOUR v.p.n, only only when on the v.p.n, do this:

      a. go to What Is My IP ? | Shows Your IP Address. and make sure your IP is different from your normal IP address. This will help verify the safety of your internet connection, especially if your IP is always the same (static IP)

      b. go to gmail.com, and sign up a new email address. make something up. use Fantasy Name Generator: Generated Names and go Sluissyer.Yerhine@gmail.com for example as an email address. For each gmail account you make, ensure that you use random, unrelated names like this. This will prevent blizzard from correlating your accounts (knowing you're the same person)

      c. go to blizzard. (STILL ON THE v.p.n!) and then sign up for one of those trial accounts. Create a few noob characters, and test things. level them to 20 or whatever the cap is. Play legit on them for a bit.

So, theres additional general tips. I wrote up a rage post the other day, http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...s/131334-random-tips-not-banned-new-post.html with me being a dick mostly (just the mood I was in) but gives great general botting tips. Follow them, stay away from Kick's Profiles for gathering (no offense to Kickass, but a lot of people seem to be getting banned using them, whether its nodes per second or pathing, I don't know). When you do you gatherbuddy, use something like http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...buddy-random-generate-gather-profiles-71.html which will allow you to generate unique, random profiles every time. Makes you look less like a bot. Also, do other stuff, like solo low-level raids, do the occasional pointless lowbie dungeon, take up enchanting or jewelling or some profession that's not gathering. Do some fishing here and there. Learn first aid. Do cooking. Do stuff like buying lame pets. Play "legit" from time to time. And never, never bot more than 2 hours in a row without a 15 minute AFK break. (preferably log out). Keep it looking legit. Be nice to players in instances / raids, trade them items if they ask for it and you don't really need it, to keep player reports down.

      Hope these tips have helped.

bot for fun, never for money. money is always a perk of botting, never the end goal. its that greed that blizz smells on you. its the fact that you keep dumping account after account that makes blizz smile. they know they have a botter and they know you are desperate. have you ever tried just leveling by hand for a few quests? level a profession other than mining and herbing? quested for less than 5 hours at a time? do you mix it up with hand BG's, dailies, dungeons, pet battles? have you tried only running one account at a time from your comp? i know the allure of botting for money, i've done it. i can't anymore, and i know it. my ip/comp/playstyle whatever blizz tracks is blacklisted. now i have to play different.

my last ban was 2 weeks ago.2/5 accounts. one was my main, the other was my banker. every toon i had was in one guild, except one. i had a 90 pally that i played just like a real person. dailies, mounts, rep, dungeons, had 501 gear, but on the same account i had an 82 dk, that i ran gathering 1 hour a night [read that 1 hour a night!!] in outlands and northrend. never the same zone twice in a row, never in the same order. i made it for 4 months on that account before they took my two active accounts and destroyed my guild that i leveled from the beginning. 7 tabs of shit mats, odd stacks of every level of mining/herbs and gems. no pandaria mats, i didnt even have pandaria gathering. and what hurt the most was the 85k i had saved up over the course of 4 months. well, thats what was left after buying every boe that i could find for my pally. destroyed my level 7 guild for fun. thanks blizz.

now i pet battle. period, maybe ill sell a pet or two someday. who knows. good luck with your greed but remember, everyone gets banned. just deal with it

edited to add-anyone on these forums who says they don't get banned, does not bot like you. and most will not tell you how they do it because of superstition. the same way magicians keep their secrets, so do successful botters.

Why do people keep saying that Blizz are greedy thieves? They are a company and they have produced a product for us to play on, you don't have to use the product, they aren't forcing you to hand over money, and the specifically get you to say you won't do things like bot. We should all be grateful for not getting banned, not complaining when we do... After all, we are the cheaters, so if you can't do the time then don't do the crime, as the phrase goes...

And to the OP, if you genuinely are addicted to WoW then you need to get some help, addiction is a bad business (be it video games or drugs and alcohol) and it seems like you've gone over the edge mate.

this. that's the reason why i would definitely never come back to WoW if i ever get perma banned. i definitely won't give them a reason for that fat blizz smile. never.

the bit that you got me curious on is "Blocking all thoes out going connections"

So.. I am a fan of Kaspersky but apparently we cant block ONLY outgoing connections. I dont use an antivirus because im not retarded and i find them to high maintancance, especially when thy don tpick up a virus =)

BUT. for the sole purpouse of WOW> i am willing to get one.

Which software would be best just for the outgoing connections?

I think u`re doing something absolutely wrong.

But first I need some more information.

Do you have an static IP from your provider? Or does it change everytime your router logs in? If it changes, the IP cannot be the problem. It is impossible for Blizz to find out which IPs belong together if you start a new char from a new IP and don`t login with your other char.

How did you bot? Grinding/gathering? Questing? BGs? Mixed?

And how long did you bot per day?

How many Accs were running at the same time?

I can just tell you, that I run questing profiles for up to 8 hours a day, with 3-4 breaks in between and a safety plugin that logs out when bot is stuck, whispers recieved.... And it logs out quite often! I do not bot over night. And I have about 5 chars 1-90 on my main account just from botting that way.

And I have several other accounts that I have leveled and gave them away to friends with 3-4 lvl 90 chars on each account.

Yify, I have no idea on your competency level when it comes to computers / internet / etc.

I generally propose antivirus to people, like my mom or dad. because they noob out and click on pretty.girl.naked.exe or my mom clicks cute.cat.pictures.exe

It would help to know what country you are from. And what kind of internet you have.

      They come in two flavours:
      - static IP. most cable companies in the US, corporate fiber internet, etc high-performance links typically have static ip's.
      - dynamic IP. if you're using anything you "connect" you'll usually get a dynamic IP. like DSL/ADSL, ISDN (lol!) and dial-up (bigger lol).

static IP means your IP is always the same, day in day out.
dynamic means your IP changes every so often, once a day maybe, or once a week, or every time you turn on your pc, in general, it can change.

So if you're unlucky enough to have a static IP, then that means your IP address (123.231.123.231 for example) is always the same each time you connect to WoW.
This would mean it is easy for blizzard to know that Account A is on that IP and so is account B, etc.

But if you're dynamic IP, then that means every so often your IP address will change so blizzard will have a "cold trail" trying to connect the dots between different accounts and there is no way for them to know:
      - Account A connecting from 1.2.3.4. bot for 1 hour.
      - Disconnect your internet, reconnect, now your ip is 5.6.7.8
      - Account B connecting from 5.6.7.8.

      Get the idea?

Now, A V.P.N (Virtual Private Network) allows you to connect to a remote server. It then creates a "virtual private network" on which you have a different IP address. In theory, every time you connect, you could get a different one (if your V.P.N. provider has multiple geographic locations support, I know StrongV.P.N does).

So V.P.N would take your static IP, and turn it into a dynamic one.

Suffice it to say that it is not good enough protection if you connect flagged accounts, or use the same ID from the registry in my earlier post between a compromised account and a new one.

My suggestion would be to contact your Internet Service Provider and ask them if your IP is static or dynamic, and ask them if they can change your IP to a dynamic one. That might help with your woes.

      Kind regards

Ive been botting for a little while. A month or so. Made two level 90`s in that time.

      Some guidelines I set myself.

      - I dont do much pvp with a bot. Theyre often obvious. Only time I switch on PvP bot is when my team really sucks or I need to answer the phone or something
      - I dont run dungeons as a healer or tank with the botting software. Keep it to DPS only. I dont AFK, I keep watching this on my screen.
      - I dont AFK during raids with the bot. Omg, but they are sooooooooooo obvious. They have that jerking walk between bosses that gives you away.
      - I dont farm too much. I farm for a 4 hour session perhaps 2 or 3 times a week and when I put stuff on the auction, its not more than 4 items at a time.
      - I dont allow my bot to inconvenience other plays (ie ninja nodes)
      - I dont use public gathering profiles. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
      - I dont bot beyond the hours I am awake. If you bot 24/7 you are going to look dodgy.

      - I do always watch my bot, even if I have it running at home I keep an eye on it at work with teamviewer
      - I do regularly mix and match my activities. I obviously want to know my class so Ill run some dungeons and bg`s manually.
      - I do only level my bot through questing.
      - I do use RandomBuddy to randomize gathering
      - I do use LogMeOut to log my character out if someone starts following it gets stuck.

Im not in this game to rape the system or cause problems for other players. I use the bot because its cheaper than constantly playing Blizzard for character migrations. I use it because Blizzard are not interested in balancing servers.

The best advice you will get on this forum is bot smart. Dont get greedy, dont AFK.
