How long do you guys run HB while doing a 1-90 quest profile so it's not obvious too blizzard? Thanks!!
Before I got banned On my main account for doing like 12 hours of gathering per day just because I got addicted to making money I'd run it for maybe 6 hours babysitting questing? or If Im still there I'd run it for most of the day 100% babysit to make sure no one whispered me or it got stuck
Thanks for the responses guys. I am thinking it would be pretty hard for blizz to prove you were botting. Unless yes ofc it gets stuck for 1 place for ever and ever... I'll continue to babysit run it until I feel comfortable with the script. Thanks!
I would run them for 1-4 hours (at max) break at random, and start all over 1-4 hours. Total of 12-14, like Lil said, and just be close by hitting (r) to see if you get whispered from time to time. If I do get posted and I'm afk, I hit them up with a "sorry guild chat is crazy today" and answer any question they had. Or you could say, "talking to 3 people sorry" and then ask what they need. It's worked for me. The key is to mix it up and try not to run them like a machine. Stop at random or just find some place to afk for a bit, then start back up. I sometimes port to a city and afk for about 5-6min then hit start again.
i run mine on questing for about 10-14 hours a day (mainly at night) and then i play during the day and then back to questing for the bot. I haven't been banned but I pretty much only use dungeon buddy while i am at my computer or questing with supervision when i can. those are the only bots i use.I never use GB but i am sure is ok, long as you don't get careless with it. I.E. flooding the AH with 50 stacks of herbs etc or staying in 1 zone for 10 hours just farming ore. if someone always sees you farming in 1 area through out a week-month you will prob get a report. I would also add careful with farming profiles where daily quests are close. as the same players will be in that zone and over the weeks will notice all you ever do is farm ore and not daily quests. and will prob move close to inspect you. (those nosy neighbor kinda people)
I only use for questing atm, and maybe dungeon farming in the future. My question is, if I was to quest for 18hours that would look suspicious, but if I was talking in guild chat and whispering friends once in a while to prove I am at the CPU and a bot is not how would blizzard look at that? Would they even look at it or would they just assume that questing for 18hours is abnormal regardless of chat. Thanks!!
I just bought 10 fresh accounts and they all running kicks profile atm . I think you can 24/7 questing....unless someone reports you its fine.
I would never bot for 24/7, that is pure stupidity and asking for a ban. I'm thinking 12 hours a day for questing then I'll log my other 90s and just play some pvp ;] I still chat while hb quest is on so if push comes to shove they can check my chat log inputs at timestamp them to know I was physically at the computer ... Would be pretty hard for them to ban you then right?
Not since they're scanning RAM. Yiu have to just baby sit it. It will get stuck and that's when you get reported
So far i've been botting for 3 days straight. I take small breaks so I can restart my pc. But I bot about 2-3 days at a time for questing. I baby sit it a lot. I play other games wile the bot runs in the background.
