Is there anyway to make botting BGs safe? I see Mastahg's BGBot but that looks like it follows the same path also, should I just do BGs by hand?
eots is the easiest to see whos botting. every bot moves to mt at the start and faces it untill capped, then al insta turn and run dr. Stay out of bg's with bg buddy, play em by hand with lazyraider or tyrael. These obvious bot movements are here for over a year, no one does a thing about it. Posted a snip from official wow forums as well, seems like people know exact how to spot a bg bot. Hard to believe no one is doing nothing about it.. but problems still exist after a year, kinda shows no one cares.
I always bot AV. Alliance wins 90% of the time on my battlegroup. Bot went 16-0 the other day. Q times are 3-4 minutes and you're lumped in with 39 other players. There's usually about 10 bots who are actually very helpful. They never get stuck. The go after Galv, then make their way south and defend the relief hut for a bit. Then they run back to FWGY and back to the relief hut. Sometimes they lose their minds and run into drek to get one-shotted, but people always think it's just some dumbass. I see all the obvious bot-like stuff it does in other BG's and I just refuse to run randoms. I do that about 8 hours per day in 2 four hour chunks to farm honor for spirits or to DE pvp necks for Sha crystals to sell.
Use plugins and custom class, avoid Strand of the ancient. Eots, WG and Twinpeaks are bit spottable. AB is good but during the first move you can be spotted at start. It's very important to avoid long sessions (7-8 hours max). Avoid it at night (there is a lot of bots so you have a lot of chance to take the same way that the other bots).
