[Plugin] randomBuddy (to random generate gather profiles)

I mean i don't use your plugin.I visit website and genarate profiles there, is it safe from LPC?

 

Tried with a fresh install and then it said this.

well yeah, the plugin offers some more features (like old zones) but it's fine too.

first log seems to have a issue with name resolution
on second: did you modify the out path?

 

Most of the zones in azeroth have problem with mailboxes. Bot wont use a mailbox in current zone but instead will try to go to one somewhere far and bug out.


There is one spot in ashenvale where the bot will stuck and fly forwards and backwards, thus making impossible to bot in there and also anything to the north.

One more spot is in Ratchet, the bot will keep flying in one spot close to ratchet, this mailbox is used for a few maps too.

Also, Tanaris/Un'goro/Desolace uses the same mailbox, bot will be stuck at the border of Un'goro and Tanaris.

the plugin uses a bunch of mailboxes for one complete continent, so this behavior is normal.
if you like you can always give me the cords of some mailboxes (send me zone, xyz, faction!!) and i'll add those!

please check for out-file exist (delete it if exists already)
try at a different PC

yeah seems like the HTTP Server was overloaded.
I will push another SVN Branch tomorrow or so that should resolve some issues (it will have a workaround for DNS Related issues by just using the direct IP address)

 

Gatherbuddy2 is now Gatherbuddy, now you get the message "Invalid bot type Gatherbuddy", i guess you will have to fix your code to "Gatherbuddy" instead of "Gatherbuddy2" ?!

 

The depency of a specific botbase was removed almost 20 rev's ago. i'd recommend to update to latest svn revision

 

I found a fix to the Invalid bot type thingy, If you're using the blacklister plugin, you've gotta open up "NodeBlacklisterPlugin" search for gatherbuddy, and remove the 2 behind it, so it will accept the new name


EDIT: some1 has posted the fix on the Blacklister plugin page allready: )found it myself by lucky first try xD

i was wondering if you added the blackspot for Howling Fjord near Nifflevar that i submitted a couple days ago. the bot still runs near there and gets dismount to remount and reenter and repeat. Other then that still awesome plugin

some1 uses the plugin with pro*y? everytime I try to run it, it threws exceptions and do nothing. Honorbuddy startup isnt a problem.

Roboto did you limited the access to your server?

 

Roboto, a question, you said older content wasn't optimized like pandaria, what does it mean? i guess a higher nph through better hotspots but in which way? i use it all the time for outland, wotlk and cata ores. Is there any way i could help you to omtimize it? like using something to gather data while and farm that you can collect afterwards and improve the experience?
