BuddyWing is not good compared to HB

I was a past user of HonorBuddy and I decided to try BuddyWing. BuddyWing, as compared to HB, is glitchy, confusing, crashes or fails frequently, and has virtually no support for Rebel Alliance side players.

It is not fair to sell a "bot" which in truth does very little until you spend many hours creating your own grinding and questing profiles.

To the few users and devs who are trying to help on the forums, thank you very much. With the advice in Walters guide and combat routines I was able to get the bot partially functional.

To the Honor Buddy company, I say shame on you for selling such a limited product. This bot is in early beta state at best and you cannot call it a friendly or easy to use piece of software.

Here are some specific complaints:

1. If auto equip and other included mods are broken, why are they enabled by default? Turn them off or remove them to prevent known bugs from impacting new users.
2. Same for the default combat routine. Please take it out of the download package if it does not work!!!! This is very lazy.
3. If there are no developer/community maintained profiles for leveling on the Alliance side, at least be honest and say so. As I see it today, BW only supports grinding from 1-50 as Empire. If I am missing community created Alliance grinding profiles, please show me! I want them!
4. Or - The developer should provide basic grinding profiles for both sides. This would be a GREAT selling point. Please do it!
5. Please do not tell me to spend time coding profiles and combat routines for your bot. This is why I am paying you money.

 

Check the profile section there is 10-50 republic grind profiles. Just download profiles test them out and build your own folders for dailies,grinding,etc so you wont have to search around anymore once downloaded. Or learn how to make your own it only takes about 5 minutes or less start to finish there's a nice guide in the forums about how to make your own grind profiles.

Questing is basically broken after level 10 so dont bother with it. I can agree that the default combat routine shouldn't be included since support indicates replacing it with a community created routine instead. Maybe in the future it will be changed to support only walters/pure swtor.

The amount of people that actually post in this section is very small compared to HB & DB. As a result all the HB is light years ahead of Buddywing because HB has a much higher profit margin. If BW was HB then people would rage everyday and no sales would be made in a very lucrative market. Not enough people play swtor anymore or want to bot it so the market is much less and we get a less than perfect bot but it still works sometimes.

I must agree with him I bought BuddyWing like 12 hour ago havent able to use because it has so much problems and support is very weak on buddywing... its sad.

This product works exactly as it says and is/was on life support. Bot is doing 1000x better than 6 months ago.


Also just like how swtor was on life support its self for so long. Hoping patch 2.4 brings in more people again with new PVP arena. WOW has 7 million more users than SWTOR and I will leave it at that.
