Hey i can't run HonorBuddy for more than 20 min or so, then it crashes and gives me an error box for me to send the info to HB. I attached the picture of the error box i am getting, and the log of everything. sometimes i get a different error with the same message box saying "System.OutOfMemoryException" ive tried disabling all my addons and tried running it in different capability modes and i cant figure it out.
this is what happens when i get the out of memory thing. nothing shows up in the logs its the same as the one i posted
Could I get some information first to the following questions? How much RAM memory do you have? Are you running other applications while botting Are u using low or high settings ingame What's you're video card?
4 GB ram, dual core 2GHz sometimes firefox all setting are lowest GeForce 8700M GT 512 MB it is my laptop but its an alienware and with the specs i have i should be able to play a few WoW's (i used to with previous bots)
i may have just solved this problem. i went into my computer and changed the page file size, and let it have as much as 4500 MB (upping it by over a gig). so far im going 30 min and no crash yet
i have the same problem in lastest ver. of HB right now im using 6.2 the older one becuz of this problem
So making a larger paging file will solve this problem. i just ran 3 hours no crashes. to do this right click my computer and click properties. click advanced system settings. click settings under the advanced tab and in the performance box. click advanced. in the virtual memory box click settings. choose your harddrive, click the botton that says "custom size" and make the minimum ammount larger than what it is now and the maximum 1GB larger than the minimum. click set. click ok. click apply. restart and run the bot. this worked for me and may work for you. let me know what happens
Smok3d is ful of it. I have my page file at 4095 MB and it still crashes. His answer is NOT going to fix shit. Don't listen to this idiot it doesn't fix a damn thing! I am getting the error "Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow" http://www.buddyforum.de/showthread...-Arithmetic-operation-resulted-in-an-overflow This does NOT fix it. Increasing the page file is NOT going to make this error go away but he is telling me in my thread that it will he is full of it. Don't listen to this guy he doesn't know what he is talking about. Also my settings in game are as LOW as I can go and I have 2 gig of ram which is more than enough. This does NOT fix the problem!
Yo wtf is your problem? Try upping your to 4500. Its something that worked for me, and I just upgraded to the new HB and its running perfectly now. I'm sorry that it may not work for you but it worked for me.try not being an ass and say something worth while.
maybe it does not work for you - you both may have totally different system setups with different amounts of RAM. he's just trying to help out by posting what worked for him. so take a chill pill and keep working towards your personal solution.
It went fine yesterday, but during this morning it keep crashing. Trying sm0k3d's solution now. EDIT: I set the system to manage the paging files automaticly.. it went from 4200 til 8000 :O
How rude! My page file was actually 6g as I have 6gb of ram however I upped my pagefile to 9gb min and 12gb max which has resolved my issue, HB has now been running for 3 hours without crashing. Thanks for taking the time to post Sm0k3d and what a pity that some of our fellow buddies are less polite.
