72 Hour Suspension - using Tyreal and Tuanha Paladin

I never bot unattended and im at keyboard. The only thing i've ever used the bot for was healing in PVP/Arena while i manually move my char. Today when i went to log in i got the 72 hour ban.


So is using a Botbase detectable now or something? This wasn't unattended i was controlling the character.

Never, No GB2,Dungeonbuddy,bgbuddy.. the only thing ive ever used on this account was Tyreal and Tuanha Cc's for PVP / LFR / Random dungeons and i run with 0 plugins.

The only other thing i can think of that happened was maybe i got flagged for doing too many random heroics.. In 2 days i farmed a xmog jp set for my pally. But i of course was controlling the char, typing and looking perfectly normal.. the cc was just doing the healing while i was maneuvering him.




now on a completely seperate account i've used GB2 to mine saronite,cobalt n such but that has been months ago and wouldn't reflect this ban.

EDIT: I also want to add this account was leveled by hand with my brother , recruit a friend.. we also played together to 90 by hand after 80



Im just really trying to figure out how they got me.. If anyone has any suggestions why id gladly like to hear them so i can prevent this from happening again. Also do you think i should still be using the botbase and profile anymore? Am i now FLAGGED? Should i just sell this account and start over or what

Why would the report him in dungeons if he was controlling it the whole time.?

I don't think it was doing to many HC's as I have farmed HC's till my eyes bleed and fell out using the very same combo. And your sure your ban was for botting.?

 

I wouldn't see why tho, or how they could even tell anything was off. I showed no bot like behavior, i would say it would be more likely if anything it came from Arena if it was some kind of player report. Maybe my interupts were too good? I've done RBGS , 2's 3's with plenty of people for months and nobody has even said one word about suspecting anything. Just saying how great of a job i do lol

well 72h bans have always been caused by player reports.

 

How does that work tho? Do they automatically ban you just because someone says you're cheating? If not how could they tell i was cheating in the first place using this method.

 

They right-click on your player frame or name and select "Report Cheat".

 

I understand that.. But do they autoban after? If not how would they know it was a legitimate complaint if im running the botbase and cc running around manually.

 

I really don't get this your playing the same way as I do I only use HB for rotation/healing on my main account nothing else all the other stuff I do on other accounts and other B.net accounts.

Now I find it really strange that you have been suspended by player reports how would they know what your doing as tbh in pve environment like dungeons or raids where you are controlling it and it just does the rotations and healing I would find it very hard if not impossible to spot anyone botting in this way. And how would they confirm and up hold the suspension.

I have seen people who afk bot in dungeons and raids and they stick out a mile.

 

If you use an account that you leveled with your main account in RAF, those accounts are linked together. One does something bad, the other gets banned too sometimes...rarely...
So i assume you were using other account to fund your main account.
Im sure they noticed gold was moving from GB account to Main Account, and investigated, and noticed you were not doing your own rotation, a robot was. That got you that ban.
Im sure they are watching your GB account now too, and its on its way for a bad email.

Thats my logic anyway.

I level up new botting accounts in 2's (RAF...duh) and normally when one of the 2 gets banned, the other one is too very very soon after., even with separate ip's and HDD id's.

 

I don't understand it either.. ive been playing this way for months. I haven't left anything out either.

 

The only possible way I can see you have been reported is by doing it in arena and the interrupts like you said, I have changed all my timings so they do it at different times. if your doing it as soon as they start casting it and every time they start casting it then maybe they reported you.

 

The account i did RAF with is my brother's. He wouldn't even consider botting, or buying gold or any of that.. he's pretty much straight edge as they come with that stuff.. So thats off the table.

The last time i did any GB2 botting was around 4-5 months ago.. I deposited the money into a level 25 guild with over 200 members, withdrawing it as i needed money on my main account.


So what you're saying is Blizzard can tell my rotation is from a CC? ... seems nearly impossible but i guess that's the only explanation if Honorbuddy is truly undetectable as claimed.

 

I turned default values from 2000ms to 800 a long time ago in fear of this.. maybe ill just do the interrupts manually from now on.

may be cause tuanha cr is healing out of combat and sometimes it's strange to see that....
