Does anyone know if selling accounts give any profit? Farming gold just doesn't cut it anymore and I want to sell my account now. Do any of you guys know where I should look to sell my account? What are prices for level 80 accounts? Ungeared and geared? If you do not want to risk advertising a website, you can just private message me it.

accounts are unstable.. because it costs ($20 wow, $30 bc, $40 Wotlk) takes like 7 weeks to get one character to 80 (thats saying nothing gets banned and you dont have have auth problems. soo imagine an account that costs $90 to start and $45 to run up one level 80. you think someone is going to buy 1 level 80 for $135?? maybe if you had 4-5 it might almost be worth it but what happens if its a scam.. you sell the account using paypal they can give you the money, then take it back right after they get your account and you just lost a lot of money (and 90% of credit cards have a "hey i didnt buy this" feature, to pull their money back. Overall it is not worth the attempt to sell your account. dont sell it to anyone because 99.9% of the time. Always remember these people have more experience scamming then you have selling. Only sell to local buyers who will pay cash.. Buyers: when your buying an account to play dont immediately leave guilds and add b.net friends.. wow does catch on to that and buying accounts is against ToU they will perminant ban and there goes your precious account you just bought. So no i do not recommend buying or selling accounts.
That's false on so many levels. First of all you can get cheap keys and make a wotlk account for like 50 bucks now. Not to mention it only takes about a week and a half to ding 80 and you don't sell accounts fresh. It's true that cataclysm is coming and more and more people are going to be buying fresh accounts but the amount of money you get for fresh is little to none. 70 bucks if you're lucky. Get them to 6k gs first and then were talking $250+ and that doesn't take long at all easily doable in your first free month.
hmm what are the odds of getting some pirated keys, get a char 1-80 in a week in a half (realizing that the average level after 72 is 8 hours). getting a char geared to 6k (which is an average of 258 item level ) which in 3 weeks you can only do icc 6 times. which means you would have to get amazingly lucky and carried through... good luck. it will cost you more then your expecting.
I wasn't talking about pirated keys you can get a vanilla for 6 bucks a bc for 13 and a wotlk for 25 if you shop around on mmobay or ebay they aren't pirated in anyway they're sold wholesale. Or average price would be 13 for vanilla 14 for bc and 33 for wotlk if you wanted to buy them full price. If you pay blizzards overpriced prices then yes itll cost you 110. You can do 72+ in 4-6 hours questing and sure, I was just stating how long it takes the average person playing 14-16 hours a day to reach 80 but you're absolutely right, if you play this game for 2 hours a day then yes it will take you 7 weeks. The op asked if there was money to be made selling accounts and I gave him an answer. Find a good guild and you can do full 264 ilevel in a month its totally possible. It isn't being carried its called progression that doesn't wipe on saurfang or doing gdkps. I've been doing this buisness for 7 years I think I know what the hell i'm talking about.
you still havnt solved the scammer problem.. and i dont know any guild that does icc 10 and 25 that lets new 80s into their raids and lets them get 70% of the gear that they can use (which is about how much would be required to gear from 4.5k (approx) to 6k.. you may do it for a buisiness since 7 years but you might be overlooking the money you spend by staring at the money you are recieving in the end.. i never said you couldnt sell accounts i just said you shouldnt and i gave valid reasons. you havent proven much.. and one person said it took 7 weeks to level questing for 8 hours a day and botting 10hours a day leaving 6 hours for computer/ bot to rest. soo once again.. i dont recommend selling account
You're full of shit even when it comes to WoW prices. Vanilla for 6, BC for 13, and WOTLK for 25? Not even European versions are that cheap. and 6k GS within a month? Oh, do we have to buy your bullshit guide to learn how to do that?

Ya seriously, that's complete BS right there. Getting a character to 6k gearscore in a month? Unless you have some private guild full of chinese with extremely geared characters to exclusively carry your character through ICC every week, that's not going to happen. For keys, lowest prices I've seen was $14 for a vanilla key, $16 for a BC key, and $39 for a WotLK key. For leveling, quickest from 1-80 done on a warlock using extremely efficient hand-leveling done by some chinese I once watched was 12 days.
Eu is like $9 vanilla $10 bc and $30 wotlk but us that price your kidding right its like 20 just for vanilla. Gearing takes a fair while to maybe instance buddy would work. I dont know much about buying and selling accs but I genuinely think its not worth it. If it takes 100 hours to gear and then 5k for an epic flyer you need to divide all that time and find out the cost per hour ur getting if is 120 for keys and time ur getting like 200 for 150 hours of work + 2 weeks lvling lol . I hope I helped you. I dont know anything about selling etc thats just an estimate from my experience as a player, you also need to take into account most sites want id etc. Good luck Oh and the prices I said are aud at offgamers (just incase you dont believe me) The 100 hrs for gear is just badge gear icc would be way longer. I watched a video by the guy who owns markeedragon and he said theres more easy money in getting cheap accs buying epic flyer etc and reselling rather than lvling. I have seen it much faster RAF questing should be 2 days (10 hours) to 60, then mixed mode bg/grinding to 80 say another 6 days MAX. using those numbers in 2 weeks you should have 8 lvl 80 accounts.
My current acc im lvling is at like 9 days play time and is only 67/68. The times you have said are rather nice, I might next time I need to lvl something spend the $9 on a vanilla just to lvl to 60 faster lol.
my paladin made level 80 in just under 10 days /played and i wasnt really trying that hard, so tbh you cant be either!
well i wasted allot of time loosing warsong gulch and like 10hrs in total either stuck or the bot screwing up lol so all up its like 7-8 days of actual play which is still fairly fail

just to add my two cents, 6k is pretty hard but you can get to like 5.8+ with just honor pvp gear and you can do that in less than a week...
