GB/HB Feature Requests! Alright, I see a different thread almost everyday about "i want this, i want that" type of deal... so i decided to make a thread and put all of the requests in it for both gb/hb. Maybe a mod can get a poll up after a week. Quests (HB) - Everyone knows that quests make leveling so much faster Many character config (GB/HB) - Allow people to save multiple sets of configs for different characters w/o having (n) different folders. 1 for each toon Relog feature (GB/HB) - Relog after a DC/Net dropping Crafting (GB) - Crafting put a timer where it mashes button every (#) intervals @ (n timeperiod) or improved crafting "sensor" In-game hotkeys (GB/HB) - Start/Stop/Pause Hotkeys + Force Vendor/Mail Button (if profile supports) - I think it means tie ingame keys to GB/HB for this feature? GB Body flyback - Fly back to body option instead of spirit rezzing Stuck in water (GB) - instead of logging, a "smarter" way to get out of the water or ignore anything near water gfx (if gb can scan for this?) Mob avoidance range (GB) - maybe configurable for (n+) mobs or elite mobs and a range (10, 15, 20 yards, etc ... level > (n)) PVP (HB) pets - Ignore pets in pvp Confirmation on close (GB/HB) - Confirm yes/no box on [x] of GB & HB - or an option checkmark to enable confirmation Logout after hours up (HB) - GB has this, set amount of hours for HB to work Enable blackspots - enable certain areas in profiles to "blackspot" within (n) yards from current area SMS ?? - some people want SMS sent to their phones for certain alerts/whispers i guess? Gbank deposit (HB) - Enable HB to gbank deposit like GB Process selector (GB/HB) - Select processes like Mr.Fishit has (C Nesox) - i've seen hb do it a couple of versions ago?? Rez sick blacklist (GB) - sometimes you fall off of a mountain side in IC/SP and DIE ... if a node kills you, auto blacklist it (or a box that will turn on/off this feature) - I die a lot in IC due to these nodes, and when i catch it, i blacklist them. Avoidance (HB) - Avoid other players within (n) range Blacklist (GB) - Blacklist nodes w/in (n) yards from current node (great for when you find your toon in 20 mobs or near elites, in water, near a cliffhanger node) If anyone else has suggestions - please add to this thread (maybe a mod will sticky if popular?). I personally think relog feature for both bots is the most important (now that it GB works correctly) Also, some ppl have been wanting the "how to make a profile" in english. theres a german one up currently. can someone repost from old forum? Nice idea to collect everything together. Integration with some kind of chat client, e.g. MSN, AIM, Googletalk etc would be useful as it would allow GB/HB to keep botting but the user to chat through WoW, reply to whispers/guild chat etc without interrupting the bot with a stop/start (or pause) button. Also in a similar vein it would be great to be able to just use the WoW client itself to chat without ending up typing "Yeah sure thing, I'm justwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" etc
Well the only thing im really hook on seeing is the how to make GB profil in English. i would love to make a few of them. and i think i got a decent idea on how it works. but still a "how to make GB profiles for dummies" would nice to see
Nice work here...personally theres a few things that jump out at me a bit that I'd love to see impemented. 1. SMS-This would be awesome, probably the biggest stretch of a request but that'd be pretty badass. 2. Log out after x hours 3. Avoid players. All three of mine basically have to do with security. I understand that some people have the guts to start up hb/gb and leave it while they go to school/work/stuff like that, but anytime I leave the bot runnin unsupervised I'm a bit nervous. Avoiding players/SMS would relieve most of my worries, and logging out after x hours would be an awesome addition for people like me. (I'd like to let the bot go a bit when I'm at work and such, however I usually work 10-12 hour days and would like to set it at 2-4 hours each day.
I have to say that a lot of them does appeal to me Questing one would be a big plus as means that could get the seeker and loremaster stuff done
Just to give some short input regarding SMS. This would require a paid SMS Gateway to work, which is paid for by x sms sent. The prices you would end up paying for this gateway to keep up with all the subscribers of HB/GB is ridicilous. Unless, its down to the subscriber to get a sms gateway and just plot in the server info to HB/GB client. As said earlier, its a stretch, but its a very expensive one if not paid fully by the subscriber.
yahoo can send sms's to your phone for free. as a thought - maybe something that can utilize that (for instance) and find your "codename" that you leave on your yahoo msgr for your cell phone, and send your cell a msg (up to 140 characters) - i know this works in the states, dunno where else it works
Hm, perhaps. For EU its pretty much just free sms if you got a provider with it on their website (login), or gateways which costs a fair bit :/
Why isnt there any kills/h and honor/h what if ur doing only bgs you would wanna see ur honor/h what if ur not looting ur mobs you would wanna see how many u kill anyway <.<
Great collection of ideas, I'm most in for the Auto Relog and Quest. Auto Relog there's some BETA version out on BuddyForums, doesn't seem to work prober. & the quest for HB is already being made, I've heard

I'd Quite like a fishing feature that expands on MrFishIt. (yes i know MrFishIt rocks but i bet this bot can improve upon it, especially since the dev for it is here too) Maybe the ability to mesh a fishing zone and detect pools, travel and fish in them. Also aware plugins maybe made for this, but i'd prefer hardcoded into the bot as yet another awesome core feature on the bot list.
I would love to see better combat in GB. nothing like HB, but I'd like to be able to heal when needed. Also Honor/hr would be great for HB. But more than anything i'd like to see questing (i know its being worked on)
put button 7 as heal, or 6 or 7 as cast sequence and throw a heal in there... or even in a cast sequence in #8
i'll give it a try. Found a macro setup for shamans on here and he's been getting destroyed in hellfire (lvl 71)
logger/relogger better combat setup fishing(probably easier in hb) respond to whispers better blacklisting
on my drood i have: 6 moonfire (dmg + dot) 7 regrowth 8 wrath works great, it can kill 2 elites cake. my warriors i use a few things on my macros including cleave ... they can take 4 elites each easily (tank spec) and my dk ... well, he doesn't farm icecrown so no biggie. only elite out there he runs into is the stupid dinosaur that fears -_- i hate that guy. but he kills it (tank spec)
