I don't seem to be having much luck with HB, even after following the installation guide etc. Now I have a problem as soon as i try to run it: 'The type initialiser for 'Styx.helpers.levelbotSettings' threw an exception. Then I get: Error - Endscene hook failed: Could not find Device. Attached to WoW with ID 2432 Loading Honorbuddy 1.9.6.2827 settings. Authenticating.. Authentication failed. Then: 'The type initialiser for 'Styx.helpers.CharacterSettings' threw an exception. I have read the forums, done what was suggested, reinstalled the program, checked .NET to make sure that is all ok, but i still cannot get it to work. Any advice? Thanks.
are you logged as admin on your machine? are you running wow on OpenGl? is your wow window minimized on your bar? and also post your log as attachment
You might want to look at the troubleshooting guide here. I've seen the 'Styx.helpers.levelbotSettings' problem when I mis-installed a CustomClass. I tend to append the version number to the CustomClasses' name when I drop them into the HB/CustomClass directory. However, one of the CustomClasses really, really didn't like that and threw that exception when I launched Honorbuddy. I suggest you remove all Plugins and CustomClasses and see if the problem goes away. If it does, put them back one-by-one until you figure it out.
