So I am new to all this. I know how to use zip files and all that. I don't know or understand how to use the .XML files. I open it and it just shows me a bunch of jumbled up words and coding. If someone can give me a step by step I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks in advance!
Just save the .XML file somewhere (like your desktop) then load your bot, choose Grind Bot, and click load profile and select the XML that you saved.
i'm using this profile with an ilvl 499 ret pally. died once in the very beginning [started the bot in the water near the port] but haven't died since. there is a group of people farming the same area but a quick wave and /hello should keep them satisfied for a couple hours. thanks for uploading this profile. really my first time exploring this island so its pretty nice to see some of it.
I have the same issue. Just spams that it is moving to hotspot and then never moves. Have updated my CC and still doesn't work. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? EDIT: Fixed it. Was using the profile in the wrong location! EDIT 2: Awesome profile man. Worked like a charm and was very discrete!
Good profile, i left it yesterday from 11pm to today at 6 am, i was honored then, woke up and BOOM, exalted just a little note sometimes my hunter wont attack the mob, so my pet kills it, and also when i die it wont rez, so it waits the 6 minutes, anyways thx. 518 Hunter
My iLvL 485 Frost DK kept getting destroyed. But once I switched to my Blood off-spec I was able to pull 3-4 at a time. Been running for about an hour and went from Neutral to Honored.
The profile works great for plate classes, as I've run it on my blood DK. Hunter runs half decent, though sometimes I get more than I bargain for and end up dead. Bear druid works out well, also, like the plate classes. However, it's not cloth friendly at all. My ilvl 502 warlock gets destroyed here. Would love to find a Black Prince profile that's warlock friendly since I'm trying to get my cloak on my warlock now.
Great profile. Agree with previous posts that this is not a profile for undergeared toons of any class and even highly geared toons of cloth classes. I ran my blood DK he's like a 490 and had no problem even when I would pull four or five and sometimes more. As it ran I was averaging around 200 kills/hr which with the 40-50 rep gain is by far the best black prince profile I've seen. So great job. Dont think they is really anything profile wise you can do to make it cloth friendly to easy to pull big mobs in this area and IoT is not easy for cloth period. IMO. Great job.
I have to call BS on the ppl saying its just for plate classes. My dest lock (510) destroyed the mobs in this area and i went from firendly to exalted in about 5 hours. Awesome profile.
I seem to recall someone saying there was a plugin you could use to specify certain attacks to avoid from certain mobs. Seems like it'd be perfect for this profile, since I imagine only the big guys have that frontal aoe attack that does much damage. A properly configured CC should take care of the health drain the smaller mobs do. If I'm thinking of the right area. Haven't tried this one yet.
Brewmaster Monk, 502: Code: Kills: 124 (223/hr) Deaths: 0 (0/hr) Loots: 56 (101/hr) I think I was earning close to 10,000 Rep an hour. The 4,700-ish Rep that I did need flew by. I generally had 2 mobs on me, 3 mobs half the time and a few occasions 4 mobs. Over the course of the 30 mins I was there I had travelled from one side to another of the courtyard where the bot seemed to stay whilst mobs continued to spawn giving me a constant flow of 3 mobs a time. As a tank it was perfect but I perish the thought of running this on any of my cloth characters! Unforgiving, short and sweet, brilliant profile! +Rep
