  • [Bug]Getting stuck, and a few suggestions

      So I have encountered this with a few areas so far. The bot will get stuck trying to move around an apex of say a tree and attempting to either attack a enemy or open a chest or it will get struck trying to path up a cliff to get a chest and keep walking into a perfect little corner. So with that being said there needs to be something done about this, I have a few ideas that shouldn't be too difficult to code in (if i knew python i could do it my self :(_)

      1)For chest create a loot timer that starts when it attempts to open it, if it fails to open it within say 2 mins it removes the chest from its field of things to loot etcetera.
      2)For mobs tell the bot to run backwards if it didn't kill the mod within say 2 mins again then continue.
      3)A generic stuck function. There needs to be something that kills the instance say if you don't move for 180secs it creates a tp and starts over again.

      Areas this has been encountered so far:
      The Forest
      Crossroads
      Broken Bridge
      Chamber of Sins
      The Prisoners Gate

      It can be extremely annoying for example last night by bot only got in 4 runs before it got stuck when I went to bed.

      A little unrelated. There also need to be made in the loot acceptions to keep 1 stack of tps in your invi and not to stash them because dam is it getting frustrating if the bot does pick up one during the run it then just sits there and does nothing or always having to go back to the waypoint at the end.

      I have a crude solution to that problem as I too was having that. I setup autoclicker ( the source forge version does not have many features so I use to instances, one to stop click and then 3 seconds later the other to start click) to stop and start the bot after 9 minutes. Last night was my first full night run, 67 runs @ 7 mins average. somewhere after 8 hours PoE disconnected.

      1) Is currently being addressed by Sie'Devs. A chest/objects ignore feature (button I expect) and a more refined loot handling (it was noted that the bot is sometimes trying to get to chests that are 'off the map' in areas not accessable (for whatever reason a PoE bug?)
      2) Ignore mob after x time is a feature I do not know is worked on or requested.
      3) Unstucker and reloggers et al are typically supplied by the community, well.. that is what I have seen for demonbuddy. So it is a case of wait and see.. or hobble something together for us all.

      note that my info is second/triple hand. I do not know or speck for devs.

      So for now pretty much setup a macro to stop and start the bot with a mouse click is what you are saying?

      Maybe they can add a Max run Timer. Would be nice
