Hey folks! So I wanted a way to use the simplicity of the Battle.net Beta launcher with Honorbuddy. I didn't like going back to typing my information in every single time I wanted to play, especially with that Honorbuddy bug where when you logout and toon switch you crash, added way to much logging in and typing for my wants and needs. This is a very simple guide, and hopefully a work around hasn't already been posted, I didn't see one.

You will need a small little program for this, which edits the hardlink of the official x64 bit launcher. This is not against the ToS of Blizzard, not that it totally matters in a community like this.

      Lets get started:

      1. First up, the software requires C++ 2005, you can find the 32 bit version here, and the 64 bit version here. You might already have this, so check your installed program list in Control Panel.
      2. Now you will need to download the actual software for this, which is called Link Shell Extension, you can find the download here.
      3. Once you got all the stuff installed, go into your WoW folder, and right click WoW.exe, select "Pick Link Source"
      4. Right click anywhere in your WoW folder select Drop As > Hardlink.
      5. Now, all you need to do is rename WoW-64.exe to WoW-64-Backup.exe, and rename the new file created to WoW-64.exe.
That's it, you're all done! Now whenever you launch WoW from the Battle.net Launcher, it will launch the 32 bit version and automatically log you in to the character select screen.

Hope this helps you guys, and that you find it useful! As a side note, I tried to post this in Guide section, but it would not allow me to, sorry about the location.

Guess you didn't read the full post, the reason why the Battle.net launcher is better, is because it always remembers your information, including authenticator and logs you in automatically every time with no slow downs.

What do you mean? That is telling me that's an invalid attachment.

There are people that don't bot 24/7. When I first get on I like to play for a bit, but when I'm done I'll switch toons or something and run a bot of sorts. It was getting extremely old having to close the game and opening the Honorbuddy launcher, or just trying to remember going into my HB folder and opening it from the start just to play WoW, but then that opens Honorobuddy too, and I just have to close it. The fact is, the Battle.net launcher is better then any Honorbuddy login plugin, because it's official, and remembers your authenticator (if you have one) forever, not that 10 day crap, it logs you in every single time, with not a single key stroke, or extra programs. When I click my WoW icon, the launcher opens, WoW opens, and I am instantly on my character select screen.

Even if I used 'HBReloger' to be beyond lazy, the steps would be: Open HB folder, launch the HB Launcher, Login to HB, use HB to log you into WoW, then stop HB before it tries to bot something, play WoW. I'm sorry, which sounds more reasonable here? 2 clicks then your in game (launch, and character selection), or 6 steps.

there is an option on the battle.net launcher to start wow in 32 bit to, not sure why you need to make it so complicated

      Settings - Game Settings.

You sir, are mistaken. The steps to log into the game with HBRelog is the following:

      - Open HBRelog.
      - Select your character
      - Click start

Then wait a little and you are logged in to the game on that specific character.
