ok so.. I have not received currency drops in... 4 hours with the new account I created today and have been botting with today.

May i ask what lvl you are and what level zone and difficulty you are botting WIMM?

Because it happend to me again with a new account. i was botting docks on normal and suddenly no currency, then i quested by hand to cruel act 2 and suddenly i got a chaos orb and a scroll of wisdom. Will continue hand leveling to act 3 docks and see if the same thing happens again.

I checked. It is not that. For instance I ran the No Currency Drops Account (NCDA) in a public game. I was 2 levels higher than the map level (so no penalty) and I saw the others in the party getting currency drops (they were grayed out) but I saw no drops for my account!

I then ran the bot for 40 minutes (before stuck) on the same map, my NCDA now 3 levels higher than the map level, and.. no currencies.

Goal: What causes this / how to fix

**Assumptions**:
- manually grinding an account does not cause/experience this
- This is not a PoE bug that EB is triggering, that this is in fact a unspoken anti-bot/RMT countermeasure

Some background:
- PoE Forums have a few recent (EB members?) posts about this, the best is https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/545524 which has at the end Mike_GGG stating "Please contact support@grindinggear.com for assistance". Also this post is interesting Forum - Bug Reports - ZERO Currency drop - Path of Exile with the same 'email support'. These are postings from complaining 'supporters'.

- PoE Wiki explains currency drop rate is dependent upon level difference of character and map/monster level. Obviously if this is the problem you would kinda notice

So I rule out a few things:
1) PoE Client: Not the problem. Test was made on a PoE client that has the problem on one account. Tried another account on that client, it got currency drops straight away (glassblowers, scrolls, orbs.. first mob!). Went back to problem account.. no drops when manually running for 10 minutes.
2) Not a level to map drop rate problem. Character is level 19 on a level 17 map.
3) Account Related:
3a) Botted from lvl 2 to 12 in mudflats To be tested
3b) 3a + Traded with (possibly flagged mule) to be tested
3c) 3a and 3b repeated but with an account that has triggered an 'Account Unlock Code' request because it is seen to have moved between geographical regions because of IP change *coughxy* to be tested
3d) Try a new character is a NCDA to be tested

Fixes tried on a 'no currency drop account' (NCDA)
a) Joined a public party game. Other players receiving currency drops, they were showing up grayed out, but nothing for the NCDA. The other players currency could be picked up after the drop timeout.
Tried after party test solo, again no drops.
b) fresh install of PoE to be tested but unlikely

same here, account getting 0 currency... i don't even have tp/wisdom scroll anymore

 

I had a reply from GGG saying they had done an investigation of my account data and found nothing wrong with it. ?

So this isnt flagging!

Could this be something client side?

 

They aren't likely to admit that their hidden anti RMT/BOT countermeasures might be effecting legitimate players.

 

I started a new account and.. have been botting for ~12 hours (should of been 40+ but bot sticks/updates et al) .. but hmm sweet currency!
I will not contact the mule this time, to see if that is it.

BUG: No currency drop AT ALL : pathofexile

 

Been botting for like 10h today, reached lvl 36 and got no currency drops for like 2hours now.. completly new account.

 

ditto, no currencies or uniques at all, hardly a wisdom scroll and never any armourer's scrap etc for days. That toon is lvl 60ish Marauder. So I started a new account and am excited to see currencies again!!
Interestingly I never got a warning or IP block, they just tried to 'bore me straight.'

 

if this is true, that mean they can alter the drop rate , so the can give what they want to who they want. Making this statement, this game is not fair for any user that is playing it and that is gamebreaking for sure.

my experience with this 3 char , 3 different ip

one have almost no loot , the other get normal loot i thing but the third one have liek 3 times more loot that the nomal one... i remember i died and restart with the third one on nemesis...

anyway that sound fishy to me if they can Play god with their RNG ... another case is that kraken wand from one streamer ( willywonka ) so lucky so easy ? maybe not in the end.

 

There is flagging going on. Everyone thats been flagged WILL be getting perm banned, its only matter of time. Tried the bot for only 5mins.

 

Checking on the Poe forums looks like all of us with the issue will be banned.

 

I create a brand new account and been leveling it to 28 by hand, currencies drop nomally. Then I started to bot city of sarn, just after a few runs (< 3) I noticed there were no ID, TP scrolls or currencies anymore...

Now I'm 44, still the same.

If this is an account flag, I'd say what a fucking efficient anti-bot system they are using!

Anyway, I'm ready for the coming ban, no idea how to bot this game.

Did you change your IP address before starting out again? Because if you were not IP banned but an account became ADDU (Accoutn Doesnt Drop Currencies) flagged... I would EXPECT GGG to place that IP in a high monitoring queue.
