I was a long user of DemonBuddy beta, resulting in about 30 account bans out of 40. Just wondering how functional the bot is at the moment. Is it worth the money for the condition it's in? I'd like to know how long you've been botting, how many times you've been banned, what type of ban it was, and if you haven't.. what are you doing so differently? Thanks for your time, Austin
I bot 10+hrs a day easily. (Sometimes far more) Haven't seen a single ban on my accounts in over 6 months now. However, some people do see bans quickly. We think it's related to play-time and things of that nature. Usually, GGG will just unban the account if you contact them, but it's not a guarantee.
Thanks for the reply, I'm thinking I'll start investing into this more extensively once a profile system has been implemented. That way is simply much easier to train several accounts at once versus manually having to change the map every x levels. I'll try out a few licenses on my ***.
"I'm getting into contact with the results from our investigation into your banned account. And unfortunately, after their in depth investigation into your account, the team has decided the evidence against your account to be valid and I'm afraid that this means that we will be unable to unban your account." all of dem. all diff ip.
again, all different. [none did farm 1 location more than 3-4 hours, though.] used it mainly for questing, not really pure "farming". there were no connection between the accounts. all got banned. all were played some hours/day before. no rmt or anything.
Well thats strange as there is no questing support in the bot and unless you used a different V-P-N for each account they would all show up under the same IP. And again as Apoc said, If you make a new account and all the sudden its grinding maps 5+ hours a day, it just looks weird and prolly flags the account. Bottom line is its a free game so getting a new ip/Account isnt that hard, and just bot smart
Seems to me that it just attacks extremely bot-like. No human would start attacking a mob, then just sit there and say "yolo" and face tank however many mobs come at it. It's not very realistic. Hopefully this is one of the 'core bugs' that @Apoc talked about earlier and will be resolved.
there is support for doing several areas. i used a diff v-pN for each. i was not using freshly created but played accounts (1-2 weeks)
Maybe you are using a well known v-pn that flags you OR they manually check whoever uses a v-pn like blizzard does.
botted a tiny bit on my main account at no ban, this was pre 1.0, bot didnt seem like it was in the greatest state at the moment, would get stuck in places or die lots, theres much work still to be done optimizing combat and routines and whatnot, i'd give this one some time, though I do have high hopes
