I go through the log in box
Then the Honorbuddy box opens and it says:-
      Honorbuddy v2.5.8461.698 started.
      Logging in..

It then just sits there doing nothing.
I deleted "Settings" as suggested but it comes up with the same thing.
I deleted the new HB and stopped my Internet protection and ran the old version and clicked yes on being invited to install the new version. It came up with the same "Failed message. Do it manually. I then downloaded and extracted the zip file and tried it. Same result. I tried using the "Settings" file from the old version. Same result.

Here is a copy of my log which is repeated every time I try to run Honorbuddy
      [20:34:11.108 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.8461.698 started.
      [20:34:53.855 N] Logging in...
[20:35:08.973 D] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
      at Styx.Helpers.Settings.get_CharacterSettingsDirectory()

It would seem to me that it is not interfacing with my WOW installation correctly as it cannot connect to my selected character. I tried it with different characters and realms getting the same System.NullReferenceException message.
      Any ideas?

Got the new WOW patch and tried HB again. Clicked on Yes to install new version and it completed the download but on trying this is my log:-
      [18:30:26.442 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.8483.699 started.
      [18:30:29.053 N] Logging in...
      [18:30:30.293 N] Attaching to D3D11

Windows then came up with "Honorbuddy has stopped Running" or similar wording. So I tried again with the following Log:-
      [18:30:46.733 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.8483.699 started.
      [18:30:49.106 N] Logging in...
      [18:30:49.409 N]
      Max Sessions
[18:30:49.482 N] Will try to login again in 30 seconds.
[18:31:00.087 D] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
