I've been preparing for the last 2 years to become a Cisco Certified Instructor and I have my final presentation, written test and lab this week so I'll be focusing on that. Just earned the achievement '250 Quests completed' using the starter questing profiles, the current HordeQuest 12-26 and the profiles I have completed. Haven't done any grinding yet.
Nice job TWKing...and congratulations on your success thus far in become Cisco certified! I am sure this is a venerable achievement. And don't worry. I'll pickup the slack and polish the existing horde 12-26 (the old version.. haven't checked out your new version yet).
Mage is, with no doubt, the hardest class to bot. Yes, they create their own food and water, but until they get their elemental, they are bait to almost any number of adds (one included). I levelled a warrior that at a time took 6 adds one level below him - thats SEVEN fucking mobs.......... Well, It was kind of unfair, cuz it levelled up after the third one died, else it would not have made it, but still ^^ I find the priest to be fairly easy to level. They can take a whole lot of beating with their vampiric embrace (15% of all shadow damage heals the caster), and if it gets adds, it will just dot all of them with vampiric touch, devouring plague and shadow word: pain, all of them contributing to the hp of the priest. My current priest is level 73, and I am not afraid of letting it into crowded areas. I am not completely sure how many adds it can take, but I have seen it fight 5 mobs and survive. EDIT: A quick note. I think with the current folder structure, it is very hard for anyone not directly involved in the project to know where to start... I mean, of course there are the starting profiles, but after that the user is presented to 13 different *.xml-files. Of course, you can guess which to take by the level, but some of them are overlapping. What is the deal with those two files going from 12-26 and 12-80 respectively? Which one should you take? And what about the profiles that TWKing created? Are they to be taken instead of the 12-80 file, or are the quests in those already merged? Or should I chose something completely different? Whew... Also, the first post should, in my opinion, be more descriptive and with more information about the current progress, you certainly are not getting a lot of new helpers in with that introduction ^^
The Angry Scytheclaws (where you have to collect the feathers) in the barrens did not work for me the bot did not collect the feathers before clicking the nest prolly the mechanics for that type of quests (collect and use) is not implemented yet
Hi guys... sorry.. I finally deleted the old 12-80 profile. Just use the 12-26 for right now. Let me check out angry scytheclaws. The current progress is - Now anyone can update, so just upload all your working profiles to the project. I'm not sure what TWKing is doing with his profiles so I will move those into another folder for the time being....

You will need to download tortoise svn first. Then just follow the instructions on the wiki... you only have to do it one time, then you will have a folder on say your desktop that all you have to do is right click and it gets the latest version... if a certain quest doesnt work.. then fix it urself and upload the changes . Or else you will haveh to wait until someone else uupdates it.
What do you want me to the files? I'm at level 44 right now, will be continuing with development once I finish my final presentation for my CCSI on Friday. My plan is to keep pushing to 60, then go back and tweak the profiles with the other two characters I leveled using the old 12-80 (12-26). Once that's done I intend to merge my 1st profile (20-30 Barrents-StoneTalon-Ashenvale) with the current 12-26 and then I plan on doing upa mage or rogue to get the levels/quests accurate for the most difficult classes and add grind points & check points. Oh and I plan on writing up a readme over the weekend so people now what to do with the profiles (use starting zone 1-12 quest profile, verythaiguy's 12-26 and then my profiles 1-8 (so far) in order. Only major places that need to be visited right now are durotar, tirisfal gladas, stranglethorn vale (zepplins) & thousand needles (lift). I've added blackspots to prevent toons from running through areas they can't handle. Expect more this weekend.
i have a very noob question. since i have download and install the SVN , i just not sure what is the mean of " 4.Navigate to HonorBuddy in windows explorer. In any part of the whitespace, right click to open up menu, and click SVN Checkout." like what is navigate to honorbuddy with windows explorer? is honorbuddy an exe file? like i normally just click to open? and if so , i didn't see the part that i suppose to click SVN checkout either. just don't really know how to setup this part. sry and my English is bad too , that is probably the reason why i didn't fully understand it. i would be so appreciate if someone can help me out.
in the horde "thousand needles 25-30" i have a bugged quest: <PickUp QuestName="Serpent Wild" QuestId="4865" GiverId="10539" GiverName="Hagar Lightninghoof" /> if u delete this row its clean the bot try to pick up this quest thousand of times but he already have it
Duly noted. Will look into it tomorrow when I'm done work. Maybe before continuing development of questing 44+ I should focus on merging my 20-30 quests with verythaiguy's current 12-26 so we can work out intro quest bugs. It would also simplify the HordeQuest project by reducing the number of files users are presented with and have to work through. Verythaiguy, what is the state of your 12-26? Any issues you are aware of? Anything you still have to complete? Can I merge it with my 20-30?
Hey TWKing... my 12-26 should be perfect except for a small issue with the scythscale raptors and not getting the 3 feathers before trying to plant them... Other than that it should be perfect.. if possible when merging (which i think shoul dbe #1 priority) please do not erase anything I have . Also, try to do things in the most optimal speed possible (more quests the better, but make sure the quests are not broken), and stick to joana's guide unless you can find a faster way to do things. Remember, we want the highest quality profiles able to gain levels as absolutely fast as possible. This should be done with the optimal combination of quests and grinding. * Important * I have moved your files into a "Work In Progress" folder. Please do not remove from there until you can merge them into more fuller files because right now it's just too fragmented to be of use toe veryone. I want to see something like at least a level range of 10 before placing them in to the main folder so people aren't confused. (If they're confused, they might become disenchanted with HordeQuest project, which is a big thing we must try to avoid). And of cousre, thanks for all your hard work in helping me with this.. it would have been a daunting arduous painstaking process without your much needed assistance.
State of HordeQuest Project So, I don't know what's happened to verythaiguy. I was pretty surprised to see him post on his Questy thread that he was done with WoW. I've been trying to get in touch with him via MSN, but so far no luck. I've been working with him since early September on HordeQuest and I am still committed to having a working Horde Questing profile from 1-60. Obviously things are going to slow down for the next week or so while we wait for HB to upgrade to the new 4.0 patch, and I will be continuing development after that. I spent the weekend integrating the current 12-26 profile with the other questing profiles I have built, constructing a list of protected & forcemail items and running a mage & rogue through the starter profiles. I'm currently running a rogue through the integrated 12-26 and reordering the quests, adding grind areas and checkpoints. I feel the rogue and mage are the most difficult classes to bot, so if we have a questing profile that will level them, it should work for any other class. From there I will do the same with the 26-44 profiles I have built and then continue development from 44-60. cannatbal, that's a error of Honorbuddy, not of the profile. I don't understand how to download these profiles.
I started bot in Mixed mode, using the 68-80 questing profile (just want it to grind) and i keep getting Code: StyxWoW.AreaManager.CurrentGrindArea is null any ideas?
there isent any grind area set for it? atleast what i can think of when it says "CurrentGrindArea is null"
