Ok, I have an account that I made up years ago and don't remember the info I set it up with. It has a couple guild masters in it only, account has never been played at all, just lvl 1 guys I ran to Stormwind. Over the last couple of days I have reorganized this account around and added a couple of new Guild Masters , got some 1 day pass codes to do it, now Blizz have locked it. I don't have any info to recover it by the form they are asking me to use, is there another way to recover it ? Do I just submit a ticket and make some shit up and try get it back. I am happy to let the account lapse 3 months then I "should" be able to appoint a new GM because that account wasn't active. Any ideas ? G
Try admitting you made up the account info as you had concerns about "security on the internet". Then prove you have paid for the account, that should swing most GM's. Otherwise wait it out and use other account toons in the guilds to assume GL.
Got a rejected email, so I got online and talked to customer support, got it resolved the one day codes had been cancelled because the credit card declined payment on them, I'll just buy $15 game time now and don't be so cheap G
This is always my goto method. The phone support will always ask questions about other info on the account. If you can verify some of the stuff that isn't easily accessed like account name... they will almost always help you out. They wont' tell you what you had made up on the account, but at least they will give you access again. Sorry I didn't see this sooner.
