Not Crazy - There is flagging going on. ZERO currency drops in 3 hours.

Are you guys registering these accounts with the emails? Because I haven't had this happen at all and I've been botting 24/7 on multiple accounts.

 

I change my IP everytime I got banned, even it's not IP ban.
PS: 5 accounts have been banned in last 2 weeks

 

I am not too sure about this.. I think, as someone wrote that this is due to some sort of bug, which is easier triggered by the bot than manually.

The reason for this is that i was playing some alone yesterday, things dropped nicely, then i teamed up with 3 friends in a group and i swear to god, for the next 5 hours i got 1(ONE!) ID scroll and that was it, no town portal, no orbs - NOTHING.
My friends however got it all.. So after about 5 hours we called it a day but i was still online, decided to bot some. Botted for 4 hours and woke up to a massive amount of treasures in my bank(including 11 orbs of alchemy and 2 chaos orbs).

So i am not too sure that this is flagging but rather some bizzare bug caused by god knows what.. And yes, ofc all of the above was from the same account.

 

Boom NCDA (no currency drop account).. level 47 account in Cruel act 1 (yeah.. been slow.. wrong build.. but been fun to play around with).

I wondering if it is safe to trade to the mule.. because they might check that when it comes to banning.
For this time I will just open a public game "First level 25 to join gets all my stuff, included 2 EO and 4 CO!" Then dump it on the ground somewhere.

Got unflagged via support, drops are back to normal, not going to bot again

Done some investigation as to this entire thing and i've been using around 10 different accounts, 5 with same IP and 5 with different.

- The IPs in my case did not seem to matter.
- It's not possible to trade before 25 with orbs.
- Orbs and scrolls dropped on regular basis on every new account.

The orbs and scrolls continued to drop until the moment i joined a party, after this, even if only 2 people in party or a full public party, there was simply no more drops at all for me in solo anymore!
Before this i was able to do several level 1-40+ characters by botting and everything worked until the moment i decided to join a party.

So could anyone confirm this?

 

Interesting. In my case, my first toon had never been partied up but lost all currency drops and unique armour
I used different email to start another softcore toon and no problems at level 40 and counting.

 

This just happened to me....this is my first account I have botted, but I just joined a party with my brother earlier and I have not seen a portal/wisdom scroll since...

 

OK, I've tried the following:

- Started new champ in Nemisis mode
- botted to level 6 in coast map
- log out, close client, close bot
- log in, get some items from friend
- log back out, close client
- log back in, open bot, start botting

About 15 minutes after i started botting after trading, I stopped getting any drops. Hopefully this helps.

There was absolutely no correlation between the bot running at the same time as being in a party, and I stilled got flagged. Got IP banned, and not keen on trying again since I have to stay disconnected for 24h before my provider gives me a new IP.

 

Tried the other combinations? the main ones;

Party to level 6
trade with character
bot hard

trade with friend,
play to level 6
bot hard

party level 6
bot hard
trade with friend

My second account is almost 100% currency flagged. Botted for 10~ hours without looting any type of currency, not even tp/id scrolls. Did maps from level 72-75 without getting any currency at all.

Started botting at level 30, average 10 hours/day.

Did you ever use an stable release from.. a month or more ago? Likely you were flagged at that time. Perhaps it was something else that has triggered it.

I did my second account 1 week ago and used the newest version of EB (not beta). My main account with my 81+ is still running fine, getting currency as normal.

 

Sorry to hear, sounds like they caught you botting. :/

 

They did. not sure what triggered it, I did bot from 60-72 without spending skill points, maybe triggered some type of check. Atleast not banned so no gear lost, a new one will just take a few days to level again so no problems. My main account is still going 10h+/day without problems.

Botting will always have its risks.

There's a lot of things GGG could do on the server side to try and detect and identify botters, and there's nothing you could do to stop that, aside from not botting.

This thread originates at a time from when the bot was causing the client to do things that broke it and probably caused detections, but not everyone was affected the same way. A lot of people used the old version 24/7 and never had an issue (not sure how though) So no, the current bot doesn't exhibit any of the things talked about in this thread anymore.

However, it's still a bot, and GGG is still doing server sided detection, so that aspect of it has not changed.

Haha, it's ok. Glad this is behind us for now though! We still have to watch out for further changes they do to try and catch us though.
