Alright so looking at it more it seems the Mind Spike Procs when in AOE mode barely cast unless everything is dotted. Procs were just sitting there forever unused at 2 stacks after 4 minutes it only used it about 30 times. (This was testing on the 4 target dummies in Valley of Honor). VS when I attack one dummy Mind Spike is my top attack.

For PVP I believe the priority for spell cast order for AOE modes should be should be SW: Death > Devouring Plague > Mind Blast Proc > Mind Spike Procs > AOE dots. Single target damage is better then just padding meters.


Also I haven't checked but I would like to see SW: Death work just like your Shadowburn setup for your Destruction Locks. Cancel cast to kill target and double cast if target doesn't die. Should always be scanning non targets etc. Again I didn't check to see if this is implemented but if not I would like it to be

 

What do you have your high aoe unit count set too? For PvP it should be a very high number... like 15-20+

Sounds like it's dropping into full AoE mode which stops using procs and focuses on mind sear etc.

SW: Death does work the same as Shadowburn when AoE is enabled - picking off units.

 

Did a whole RBG and only used Mind Spike 9 times with AOE set at 25. Still not using it over AOE Dotting. (Every Proc and 3 Orb DP should be used over AOE. Padding meters in PVP is bad if you have no single target pressure.)

Still get fucked once you run out of mana. Keeps trying to use other shit after using VT one time instead of mass spreading VT. (This happens in any situation where you cannot stay in on place. You end up going to no mana like on a flag map cause your chasing someone and instead of using VT a bunch after you stop it does dumb shit instead of mass spreading VT.)

Would like to see another setting for Vampiric Embrace for an AOE Heals. EX 3 Team Mates under 85% pop Vampiric Embrace.


And just encase you over looked it I would like a setting for Mass Dispelling a CC'ed Healer. (Sorry if your working on it!@ )

 

hello you can try to change in DoTmanger settings set Dot power increase value % to 100 , max dots pain 4 VT 3 , and or change how much dots you want from pain and VT to gets your proccs . from the last svn update iits worked for me better know .?hm and yeah i did the refresch of dots to 2500 . at least try what good for you in the dots manger ist solved some problem like you for me too

 

huhu milz can you add an option for Racial to be uesed with use trinket when i burst with Devouring Plauge

Completely forgot about the Mass Dispel thing. I've made the following changes - will push to SVN later.

- Mind Spike now has a higher priority to prevent procs being wasted.
- VT now has a higher priority when AoE enabled and mana < 10%.
- Added settings to Vampiric Embrace to allow healing party members on low HP.
- Added Mass Dispel friendly crowd controlled player.

My priest doesnt cast mindspike at all when it has 1-2x talent procs. Intended?

 

Pushed the change as-is. Will add the healer option tomorrow - don't have time tonight.

Just pushed a change which increases the priority of Mind Spike. Give it another go and let me know how you get on.
