Framelock @ 23. 6)What plugins are you using?: Honorbuddy's native installed plugins 7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: average 6 hours divided between two accounts. Was busy moving to new home this week and ran bgbuddy to assist in capping my 1800 conquest on 3 toons. Bot ran intermittent sessions (max 8 hours) between toons since last reset (approx 6 days) Botting activity exclusive to BG buddy only over these past week. All Arena and RBG done without bot running. 8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? Battlegrounds, supervision was limited to first match and randomly throughout sessions. Approx 10% of all matches were either directly observed or actually played by this subscriber. 9)How many auctions per day did you have?: Unremarkable or insignificant auction house activity over past week. 10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? Negative 11)Was your account involved in gold selling? No 12)EU or US realm? US 13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid? Subscriber since WoW's 5th Anniversary, ( 2009) paid monthly via credit card. Any thoughts on appeal? Beg for forgiveness? Claim ignorance and claim it was a minor child, or perhaps an account-hacking, russian exchange student? Seriously, what evidence do they have? There is no discovery process. Appealing a ban where there will is no specific offense , other than "botting" , seems almost as risky as botting itself. I don't know what they know. How does one defend such an allegation?
BGs isn't just a "marginal" risk anymore, because more players are aware of the pathing that BGBuddy uses and can often spot them from a mile away. If this is your first ban on the account, plead ignorance. If it's your second ban, still plead ignorance. Your chances of getting it lifted are drastically decreased after your second ban.
Thank you for the kind advice. Yes, it is my first time receiving a ban on any account. This account, happens to be my main and I took a foolish risk feeling the pressure to keep my PVP gear competitive and capping in this manner. Regardless, I do not see how I will be able to claim that "I didn't know" or another similar statement of ignorance. Do I actually admit to botting and claim "not realizing" it was a terminable offense or do I completely deny any knowledge of of using any "third party software" ? Thank you in advance
Deny it completely. Be upset. How dare they accuse you of this? You PVP often and you see bots, and they disgust you! Why would you want to do that? etc etc.
Some of you guys in this forum will never learn, 99% of the time this is like telling your parents "you didn't do it" when they just stood there and watched you do it. this is a mass ban and not just 1 or 2 incidents, blizz usually has proof when this many people are being banned at once.
Using the bot to fully play the game for you will get you banned nowadays. Try to do the movement yourself and only use the bot for routines. People will report you if they see you following the same path 5 other players are taking and mounting at the same position.
After all these bans i wouldn't even trust the routines at this point. 2 of my Disposable accounts that i only used for gold selling were banned. I will not use this again for a while until things have been addressed. Alot of people in these ban threads have admited to seeing them yet still chose to bot in some shape or form AFTER the wave started, then come BACK here wondering why
The routines are safe, been botting everyday using Tyrael and paid Tuanha routines just fine in Arena and BGs.
wow your unlucky i accidently left my bot running bgs last night because logmeout bugged and didnt log me after 3 hours woke up to start my bot again and boom was running call to arms all frikkin night lol got like 4k conquest tho so worth =)
3 hours is fairly insignificant to risk receiving a permaban. I'm glad to read of your success in using the bot and hope it continues
I've been using CR + Tyrael + My movement for more than a year and it's still safe. But TBH i never let my char unattended while using afk botting like Questing/Grinding and BGBuddy. Use BGBuddy botting before going to bed always give me nightmare
