Isn't it very easy floe Blizzard to indentify bots ? All they have to do is check mouse pointer behaviour... Im not sure how a bot makes a character move/fight/use the gui but I don't see any mouse cursors moving on screen... I'm sure if I understood exactly how the bot works (I don't), I could find out ways to detect it.. So I'm sure blizz can as well because.. well don't underestimate them, they have very smart software engineers... I have been botting on my main that I don't want to loose... it's my only char I evermade since Vanilla, it has multiple server firsts, scarab lord, plenty of stuuf I never could get back anymore... I am hoping that because it is a legit account and Im not botting for gold ever that I am safe.. or at least get a 72h ban the first time... So far I botted for: - Deathcharger Reins (was just sick of Stratholme) - The mount you fish up in pools (turtle) - Pokehbuddy (pet levelling) I would never use it for farming materials, gold etc... so my mindset at the moment is to bot until I get a 72h ban and then stop botting forever..
No such thing as pre-definied punishment categories. If you get caught botting, they will ban you. you have a 50/50 on getting it turned into a 72hour - no better odds than that though. first time or not. The simple rule is - NEVER bot on an account you aren't prepared to lose. It really is as simple as that. ++ The bot uses memory injection to do those 'mouseover' things you're talking about.
Blizzard will ban you regardless of what you're doing while botting. I botted on my main account and only used it for leveling toons, never for profit, and I was banned while playing by hand for 72 hours. Like loyoladude said, don't bot on an account you aren't prepared to lose.
hmmz weird that you got banned while lvling with tyrael and hand and honorbuddy to cast ive never got banned for that only the bad quest behavior what got me banned 2 accounts
