Was having some issues with a profile (after coming back to HB after months off) Had to patch HB, then all profiles not working Re-Installed HB, got latest downloader/exe.. Now get [16:43:36.927 N] Logging in... [16:43:37.631 N] Authentication failed! [16:43:38.024 N] Logging in... [16:43:38.789 N] Authentication failed! [16:43:39.457 N] Logging in... [16:43:40.216 N] Authentication failed! [16:46:35.962 N] Logging in... [16:46:36.628 N] Authentication failed! have checked key and it was same when loading, as the one i originally received when purchasing some 12-18 months ago. Any ideas?
are you sure the key your trying to use is the same one listed on the buddyauth website? are you sure theres no spaces before or after your key? if your sure, try flushing your dns Flush DNS - What's My DNS? reset your host file back to default. How to Reset Hosts File to Default in Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8? - Tweaking with Vishal and try power cycling your home router.
Hey! So I tried all of those, reset the file, and still the same error. I'm not at my home PC to send the file, but it says the exact same. I'll attach latest log file once I get back.
Hey, thanks, but I managed to get it working. For whatever reason every time I tried downloading it, must have corrupted some place. Got a friend to download the zip and it worked without a problem. I'd say its worth anyone checking the zip, over the exe if you get problems.
