It would like to know if the program itself detected something suspicious and activated Tripwire or if the Devs activated it after their suspicion something could be wrong. So in other words,are people, who botted just hours ago, "safe" or was the Tripwire activation already too late.

Omg I botted 5 years and I managed to dodge this wave too. Holy shit I'm lucky. I managed to dodge like 6-10 banwaves total using glider+honorbuddy. I'm so happy they disabled honorbuddy. I kept 2 days brake and just today was going to bot for few hours and now read this.
You should fix that If someone have 3 accounts that mean he is farming gold. If anyone farming gold with bot without ban for that long, that mean for me that is not enough gold collected. Every account cost 1k a day for game time. So do math.
Not everybody bots for the same recasons. For example i only bot for my personal gaming needs. That is having all the class at top level ready to play and never beeing in need of gold or mats to do the things i like in game. Most of the time i have no more than betwen 50k-200k gold in my possession. The reason i need a bot is i dont have enough time to put in the game to keep up with other "hardcore player". So i do only the fun part and let the bot do the more boring stuff. The money cost to own an account is not a problem for me and I do have multiple accounts, but only because I like having more than 1 toons logged on at once .I've had my accounts since vanilla and they are priceless to me. I can probably buy a better account with more achievs/mounts/everything, but that would not be MY account. That is why I keep boting to a minimum and manage to stay out of the banhammer radar. Therefore, I find reassuring that honorbuddy has system like tripwire to protect my account. They should take all the time they need to make sure it is safe before allowing us to bot again and if it takes 2 week, then so be it.
Thats what I was saying, I think he was talking BS You cant bot that hard without getting banned. But maybe I am wrong and I hope I am, which means Blizzard is slacking in some odd way.
Well every botter think that he is botting smart and he is very smart because he wasn't banned before. I mean that is ok. But, like you said, if you anyone start hard on farming gold, every day, there is no chance not get banned. Otherway you are doing something wrong with that farming @jdb1 I know that is different reasons for using bot. I am talking about everyday gold farming.
