I've always thought that when doing 100% botting that questing is the quickest leveling. But I've never used dungeons while botting or straight grinded. Why would anyone grind? And what is the quickest way you have found with 100% botting.
I have found questing to be the fastest up until 85. 85-90 I go to the timeless Ilse and farm the small grubs under the trees and get a ton of xp from them. If you have problems trying to kill them since youre on a melee or do not have a self heal try to find a friend or pay someone to either heal your or kill the mobs after you tag them. I have leveled 3 toons to 90 this way and found it to be the fastest. Rested helps a ton too.
It depends on your server and if youre getting ganked while you do it. But if youre on higher pop side of the server I leveled my hunter from 86-90 in a little over 6 hours but I also had rested. Also there are those little stone circles on the ground that sometimes have a HUGE buff they give. One of those is a ton of AOE DMG. I dont recall how long you get the buff for but I remember it had about a min CD. Those also help a great deal if you cant self heal. But I dont think it is worth the time to search for them. If youre lucky and see it up use it otherwise just farm the mobs by yourself or with a friend helping you. Make sure the person helping you is NOT in your group. This will hurt the amount of exp you get if youre grouped with people.
You might want to give it a try on your DK but be sure to take the AOE freeze talent to stop the grubs from casting poison on you. It might take you a few times how to figure out how to kill them but I think with AMS, AOE freeze, and your AOE dmg+ Conversion you might be able to pull it off.
When you say pandarian gear do you mean the stuff you find laying around on the ground in random places?
This is amazing. I got 87 to 90 in 3 hours (rested + 9% 9year bonus thing) with competition on them so I had down time getting them. I also deviated some by killing nearby rares... as for the DK, you can undead control the panda ghosts nearby and own these things.
I got from 85-90 in 12 hours 39 minutes 100% afk with no rested or even a guild buff. How's that compare to questing?
well, if you want to 100% afk, archaeology, if you can afford a quick watch every now and then, questing, because questbot tends to get stuck sometimes. you dont need to 100% babysit, but from time to time you should control if everything is allright, and best would be to get some mop accbound weapons, or arch weapons, speeds up mop leveling a lot.
i just lvled up my character from 1-90 in 4-5 days with questing and whenever i was near i would have manualy queued up for dugeons and then switch to dungeonbuddy. didn't have any exp boosts with this only lvl 25 guild
the same way you get anywhere else before 90...Run, swim or get a summon. You could get to 90 in under 2 days played easily using RAF and then the timeless isle leveling method, and that's with little to no xp bonuses. Quick leveling through RAF
how fast? doing the yeti's in kun lai mob tagging. good lvl 90 to kill after tag and ive done 85-90 in 6-6.5 hours time

fastest way i lvl is to 1-80 questing 80-85 either lvl up with Arch or battle pets then quest 85-87 and quest / grind 87-90 seems to work out the best for me the questing from 80-85 seems to glitch out alot with HB have to baby sit alot or manulay quest for a little while.
I always leveled manually till I got bored and then grinded my way to 90. I can't really say which is quicker, because it depends. If you make a grinding profile yourself it might run all night flawlessly. However I tried questing a couple of time and it always got stuck within the first hour or so.
