Hello Community, i am here because of my Honorbuddy issue(s). I bought Honorbuddy some minutes ago and directly downloaded it afterwards. I downloaded the Installer Version first (Honorbuddy: 2.5 r9001 Build 716 ) and run it. Nothing Happens. I run the .exe file and just nothing happens, nothing opens, no windows, just nothing! I have no clue why.When i open the Taskmanager a task named Honorbuddy Installer[..] is listed. Now to my second problem: Since the installer version didn't work i tried it with the standalone .ZIP version, downloaded it, extracted it to my desktop in a seperate folder and run the Honobuddy.exe as a administrator. Now this opens: In this window i can't do sh*t. I cannot click on anything except Log and Info (both empty as seen on the screenshot) I cannot click on Load Profile or Settings just nothing.. And now, if i try to close Honorbuddy, i get an error: informations: -Win 7 64 Bit -Administrator -Tried to run as Administrator multiple times (nothing happens) I have no idea what i should do. Hello Laricia, thank you for your quick response. I downloaded everything (except Net Framework 4, because i already had it installed) but sadly it changed nothing. Cannot Install and still cannot get Standalone to work. greetings, .rox
ok here how i do an fresh install of hb short howto: install net4 or higher start your pc new do a windows update start your pc new extract the zipfile hb not in a folder on the desktop start wow as admin hb start as admin enter your key should work ps. you must online with an char in wow
@Laricia Did everything, my windows is up to date and netframework 4 is installed. I cant even enter my Key, nothing works.

This may sound like a very lazy answer, but I have found it very effective. I'm running HB/DB on multiple computers with multiple copies of the game. If there is a significant issue, I will usually be impacted by it. You used the installer. This is what I do when I have problems. Delete HB. Download the ZIP file. Unzip it to the directory I keep for HB. (IE: C:\\HBfolder), so when something goes wrong I delete the contents of the folder, then just unzip the newest zip into that folder. That will clear most honor buddy errors. Something about the installer/updater seems to give me problems. Note, the most recent update killed my honorbuddy and gave me all kinds of errors. 10 minutes ago I deleted it and downloaded the zip. It appears to be working fine again now. Note: If you are going to be doing this regularly (deleting your HB folder) you should store any custom profiles in a different folder (IE C:\\Awesomeprofiles). Deleting your custom profiles would suck.
