Hi, Fragnot, All the information for obtaining Loremaster has been consolidated in this article: HelpDesk: Questing profiles and the Loremaster achievement cheers & good luck with it, chinajade
Hi, Daarno, We've absolutely no chance of helping you with problems, if you do not attach a log that demonstrates the issue. Please see the guide for Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance. cheers, chinajade
Hi again, MaxMuster. First, please understand how much we appreciate your detailed explanations and contributions! THANK you so much for placing such a nicely wrapped package in our hands. The whole Community benefits from the time you spend to make the report and such competent repairs! Your changes for "Sending a Message" have been incorporated into v2992. cheers, chinajade Ref: MaxMuster's problem report w/recommended repair
I won't hold my breath. Anyway. you have annotated a similar post elsewhere, and moved it to bugs: apparently, when the ground mount and the flying mount are the same, there is a dismount issue. I think that is what was playing here. It would be nice though if more people knew of this problem. I found your remark by accident.
MaxMuster, thanks once again! Your changes have been folded into v2993. cheers, chinajade Ref: MaxMuster's problem report w/log
Hi, Judasz, Mailing seems to be working fine—it may be a problem with your installation. If you need assistance, please see the guide for Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Fragnot, The profile does not participate in mounting decisions except for some very select quest behaviors. This is more than likely an issue with your installation, or a misunderstanding on how/when mounting occurs. If you still need assistance, please see the guide for Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance. cheers, chinajade
Thanks, MaxMuster! Your recommendation has been folded into v2994. cheers, chinajade Ref: MaxMuster's problem report w/recommended repair
Thanks again, MaxMuster. Your recommended repairs have been folded into v2995. cheers, chinajade Ref: MaxMuster's problem report w/recommended fix
Hi again, MaxMuster, Indeed, Honorbuddy no longer needs many quest overrides, and we're trying to remove them as we go. Thanks for finding another! Your recommendation has been folded into v2996. cheers, chinajade Ref: MaxMuster's problem report w/recommended repair
And once again... many thanks, MaxMuster! The recommended repairs have been incorporated into v2997. cheers, chinajade Ref: MaxMuster's problem report w/recommended repair
Once again... many thanks, MaxMuster! The additional yellow and green power crystal entries have been folded into v2998. cheers, chinajade Ref: MaxMuster's problem report w/recommended repair
Hi, Myrgy, Questing solves a very broad spectrum of problems, and literally travels most of the WoW world. The questing environment is 'target rich' for getting into trouble in all kinds of ways--"stuck" is just the most common of those. Personally, I would never quest unattended, but many do. You must find your own risk tolerance level. And... you should only bot if you are prepared to lose the account. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Ch0denator, Realistically, this will not happen anytime soon as all our time has already been planned with the current workload. However, we've added your request under "Optimizations" in the Known Bugs List: Miscellaneous (Rep, Seasonal, etc) article to give it due consideration. There is a good chance the staff will discard the request, due to the reasons cited in this article: HelpDesk: Quest giver is not offering expected questAnd there are other similar reasons of which most of the Community is not aware. But the request will certainly be considered when time allows. cheers, chinajade
Hi, MaxMuster, and thanks for this. I've gone ahead and incorporated your changes into v2999, but I kept the old hotspots as comments for now. At one time, Honorbuddy had a bug where it "wouldn't get close enough" during a CollectItem objective. HB-74 (closed bug report) was *supposed* to repair this bug. In fact, it may be since I don't know which version of Honorbuddy you ran this against. But, if you have further problems of this nature, please attach the log. I need to submit a new bug report against Honorbuddy, if this is still an issue. cheers & thanks again, chinajade Ref: MaxMuster's problem report w/recommended repair
Hi, Judasz, This is a problem with Honorbuddy. We've submitted HB-277 to have the issue investigated. For now, please do the quest manually. Very sorry for the inconvenience. cheers, chinajade Ref: Judasz' problem report w/log
Hi, Judasz, This problem is a bug in Honorbuddy, captured as bug report HB-226. The problem should be repaired as of Honorbuddy v2.5.9088.718. If you see the problem again, please report it to the Support forum—as the problem is not profile-related. If it happens again, the Support staff will need a fresh log, so a new bug report can be opened. cheers, chinajade Ref: Judasz' original post w/log
Is there anyway to skip a quest and move on if so much time has passed? I've found two sticky spots so far going from 1-44 so far which to be honest Im just getting greedy and causing issues but I see a very beautiful design and profile I just think that you should be able run the bot without to much risk. I literally started it up and walked away to take a shower and I had no issues before hand so I figured Id let it run while I multitask and when I came back it only ran a few yards and Sat in this safe spot it said.... so I finished the quest and off it went for a while again and I had a similar issue in one of the plague areas I didn't document very well but if you want I'll be making another toon to run through I could easily don't then. But I was just wondering let me know... mostly likely just me being a nut case but thanks in advance
Hi, Judasz, and many thanks for the log. Quest turnin mechanics are the purview of Honorbuddy, and the profile has no contribution other than to ask Honorbuddy to turn the quest in. I've seen one other instance of this problem, and opened bug report HB-190 to have the issue investigated. I've added your information as another datapoint to this report. If this problem happens again, please supply a fresh log. More datapoints gives the team a much better picture of where the problem lies. Perhaps, its a certain 'type' of quest (i.e., one that ends with a "Continue" button instead of "Complete" button, or somesuch). The development team has yet to isolate the cause of this problem. For now, the best I can offer is to manually work around the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the problem is not profile-related. cheers, chinajade Ref: Judasz' original post w/log
