Can't seem to get myself to sell those 100+ stacks of herbs when it's selling for only 15g a stack. And since the inscription shoulder enchant was nerfed, i can't go that route either. Should I just AH all the pigmants or start creating other things?
That's what I ended up doing. I made the some of the Greater and some of the regular shoulder enchants and sold them on the AH. On my realm the Str/Agi ones sold the best, and of those, the Greater versions sold for between 500g-700g a piece, depending on how saturated the market was.
well...i actually only made the blue ones and vendor them all lol. It was faster and easier for me to do that then sell them on the AH. It's hard to sell them on AH when you make like 100+ per day lol.
In all honesty, so has everything else that's farmed (almost everything, anyway). This happens every expansion cycle. We are nearing the end of MoP, the Cutting Edge raiders have been done with raiding content for a few months, casual players have completed LFR and most likely Flex. The market dries up. What's been particularly upsetting is that all of this has been happening while Gathering bot bans have been increasing. Oh well. My recommendation: Buy or create a guild, store the herbs until WoD, sell when the prices go back up a bit. As long as people need old materials for leveling professions, they should gain some value as everyone else moves on to farming the upcoming expansion's materials. Cheers, XtO
Guys u could just make normal inks from the herbs, then trade the inks for cata inks at the ink trader, and then u make those fortune cards and just sell them or open for luck ^^ , I haven't botted for a while since i have no gametime, but i will soon bot again
I made 5000 fortune cards last time, that's 8 guildbank tab full with flowers. It took ~6 hours (!) to mill -> craft ink -> trade in ink -> craft cards and i made around 3000 gold, not a single 1000 or 5000 card. Since that "Gather herb" option is turned off.
