[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

Yeah all the settings seem to be useful for some situation.

With dual spec and auto demon you can make use of just one setting file for raid and grind, just have off spec demology for farming(need hb restard between), might not be the most efficient farming spec but its fine for random timeless isle grind for example, thanks.

i checked the logs myself and noticed that it didnt target immolate on any mindcontrolled ones, so i guess it was refreshing immolate on garrosh rather than casting on the players, should have checked the logs first myself.

Also a question about demology, i use it just for some change from destro on lfr, the aoe damage in demo seems mostly short-range like hellfire and carrion swarm, if movement is enabled would the bot move close to enemy packs for aoe or should i move it myself?

 

Nah the movement isn't that intelligent - you should be moving in range yourself to the biggest pack of mobs.

 

Hey Millz, iv'e been looking around the forum trying to find some optimal pvp settings, and im having some trouble. I was wondering if you could implement a setting for affliction lock that would allow us to bind f to soul swap dots to nearest target that dosn't already have dots? I've messed around with the AoE settings alot, and im having alot of problems getting it to not use seed of corruption. It would also be nice if you could add a option in the fear settings, to fear the 2nd targets that's not focus, which would usually be the healer. Currently there is only a fear (all,target,focus) and when you have all clicked it usually fears the current target.

 

One thing i notice is that when you have to move away from stuff etc and turn with mouse it seems to be much less forgiving than the mage profile for example, seems like if i'm facing even a bit to the side it won't cast, ended up enablign auto face but still when holding right mouse button it's a bit iffy.

Hopefully you can look into it, never noticed that with the mage.

Edit: Oh yeah it's probably burning rush, hm... well i know it's hard to make it perfect but either i'll have to use it manually or would it be possible to activate it only if you're moving for more than x time, because sometimes there's a small thing that makes me move and it will end up canceling the cast to cast burning rush and will then make the gcd kick in which ends up with some dps loss, and if you are only moving 3 steps forward then the burning rush won't do much good.

Anyway just an idea, hopefully not a stupid one, so something like ifmoving for more than 2 seconds then use burning rush or 1.5 seconds whatever would make most sense.

 

This is a funny one. I've noticed this happening on a number of occasions and could never figure out exactly why (and I don't use burning rush or turn on facing, so I don't think it can only be those). It's hard to describe, but it's like the facing cone the routine recognizes is narrower than it should be. I've had moments where I literally had my hands off the mouse and keyboard and the routine will launch a chaos bolt and then somehow seem to have lost facing and stop casting. I've also noticed it while strafing around adds with fire and brimstone up; it's hit or miss whether the incinerates will go off. It's got me wondering whether it's something in the game itself, that when we play manually we're always making small unconscious corrections to align our characters, or whether there may be a bug in the routine somewhere.

 

Yeah maybe it's not just burning rush, but i do notice it does cause a dps loss if you are moving just a little bit due to canceling current cast and triggering a gcd etc, but yes soon as i got the warlock routine i noticed something strange regarding facing compared to the mage, hopefully Millz can see it, otherwise it's time for me to log it and sit by the dunmmy rotating char little by little.

I was skeptical when this first released but it seems like you have made some major improvements and I have been reading nothing but great reviews. I will definitely be donating for the premium version Demonic in the upcoming week.

 

Hey - Turn the High AoE setting up, and it'll stop using Seed of Corruption.

Can I ask which version of Demonic you're using? Fear's settings varies massively between the 2.

The routine is checking that we're facing the target, for a good few spells (conflag, fel flame, incinerate etc). So it could be that it's not checking a wide enough radius. Think it's checking 180 degree's in front of us at the moment.

I'll add a minor delay before casting Burning Rush.

Turn the High AoE count upto 100, you wont see Seed of corruption again, As for the fears, if your even remotely interested in doing well in Arena, ull want too manualy control your fears for sure, Just make some Arena1 , 2, 3 macro's and bind them some where that makes sense, personaly there on my naga 1 2 3

You can also use the same macro for other ability's, just swap fear for mortal coil , spell lock, Ect, i have Naga 1 2 3 as fear, naga shift 1 2 3 mortal coil, naga ctrl 1 2 3 spell lock, Also bind Burst mode, As an affli lock ull mostly use darksoul off cooldown and wont be charged with killing stuff, your partner will be the one dealing killing blows usualy while you pump out the pressure but when he's going for a kill, hit burst mode and get a haunt in there too help land the kill. if you want decent rating in arena, ull need to control these things yourself.

That being said you will do "ok-ish" letting the CR do all this for youbut not great and Demonic does have keybind section of its own, the way im set up is just the smoothest way i found for myself, in RBGs, let the CR fear spam healers and drop shadowfury bombs on them, you will make there lives hell and your team will love you for it.
